Jared's is calling me back with the inventory. I might fly to Phx tonight as I have work on Monday in that area. If I go and can get good deals, who wants me to pick something up for them? Just shoot me a message!

The new wave of Marini orders for elevating Rolex to an even higher
"members only" Luxury Club is rapidly taking shape. No place within the new Rolex for banality with Grey importers and discounters. Now you will pay the price (close to $8500 for an Explorer II ?) which makes you wonder if the way to go is the unethically high prices for a very average steel made watch carrying the Rolex name ? In my opinion With this new pricing philosophy an all gold Rolex sport watch like the Submariner Ref: 116619 should retail for $85.000 !! I love my Rolex (es) - but when would I (we) say... enough is enough.. to this constant "pricing rally" upwards for no real reason other than GREED ? |

I spoke with a Jared's salesperson today who informed they are completely sold out of Explorer II (40mm) nationwide. In case you are in the market for one as I am.

Went to another Jareds in Houston today to try my luck again and low and behold there was my wife's Yachtmaster she was dreaming about. Picked her up for 40 percent off. Yeah Baby! OH YEAH! Picks to come.

None of the Jared stores in MA, CT, or NH carry Rolex unfortunately. I was looking for a mid-size 31mm SS DateJust (178240) with Domed Bezel/Oyster Band for my wife too. It would have been a great buy for her. If anyone does find one, and you could let me know I'd really appreciate it.

The place in AZ that has them and just called me. Really the only one they have at a huge discount is the DJ 116034 for $3700
Exp 1 new is $5800, DJII black, fluted with roman numbers is $7000 and the YM (SS with plat bezel) is $9500 Seems like ok discounts, but I think they will get better maybe. This is also over the phone price they are giving, so probably not firm if I am in the store with CC in hand looking to deal. |

Just got off the phone with the Rochester, NY store... saleswoman confirmed they still have 40+ in stock, with mostly datejusts at 40%off...
Unfortunately no more Milgauss in stock... She said no discount on Subs or other "professional" models"... After about 5 minutes of asking her though she began to get annoyed with me and pretty much told me to go in person if I wanted to talk pricing Anyways, just thought I'd share FWIW... might drive out there tomorrow just for kicks...

Received 35% off of a white face yellow gold DD2 but had to pay 8.25% tax. Got on the bandwagon last Friday.

I hit the Jared in Brandon, FL tonight (Tampa area). They had about 10 left in stock. One DSSD and one TT SubC, then a few DJ and maybe a lady YM. We asked about a fluted black dial ladies DJ for my wife with the jubilee band. They would only mark that down 20% off list. We passed but they were really pushy trying to get our phone numbers because my wife said she wanted a white dial not black. No discount on the two sport models.

No discounts on SS sport models, didn't ask about the precious metal pieces. But the store seem like they are unaware of being pulled as an AD. They answered the phone with "proud to be an authorized dealer of Rolex"

Just got back from one in Plano TX. They were almost wiped clean. Picked up a new 11600 for $3100 + tax, wouldn't ship. Even thee in some Rolex logo display markers.
