Beautiful watch, Dalip. I saw it in person for the first time recently and pics don't do it justice.

Linz - you know this isn't good news for you...too many watches appearing at the GTGs from now on....
Lol, Looking forward to trying some of your magnificent pieces on mate, not that I need any more fat thrown on my Rolex fire! I think I need to find another job....

well done Dalip, looks great - much nicer and classier than that AP. Interesting to hear more about how it compares to your 16610LV

Appreciate the great feedback
Anders - They really are so different in terms of feel and look....the LVC has a higher level of refinement IMO. Feels and looks more substantial and reeks of quality. But the LV has a special place in my heart - light, robust and easy to mix up with the insert change. It is after all a celebration of a classic

I'm getting a Sub C clasp for my 16610LV so it can get the upgrade it deserves

NiceI had the Sub C LN but it didn't last long - i prefer the LV with black insert for that look. But the LVC provides another dimension altogether because of the green dial. That's it's draw card for me...

i've tried on the Sub C and a) it didn't wear as nice as the 16610 and b) prefer the DSSD over the SubC. the 116610LV i've tried on too and love the dial and insert.. a real chameleon. i was thinking of getting a 116610 as i have some incoming green and blue SubC inserts so could change round a bit... in any case have just bought a black Exp II 42mm so will see what i need next... well, more like what i want
