Yep - good point - the carriers will have stock available for 9/21 longer than Apple.

Does yours say delivery by 9/21? My AT&T email says "should arrive as soon as Sept 21, 2012." |

I was glad to see that they can be activated online after you get them. I was thinking I would have to go to the AT&T store to have them do it. I had visions of lines out the door and around the block!

I hope they learned their lessons last time - I read that they prolly won't release iOS 6 upgrade for existing iPhones until the new phone delivery activation spike abates.

I have a Verizon store that always has stock on release day. Hopefully I will waltz in at 10am on release day and grab one.

I put my order in at midnight, but then when I woke up I think I should have gotten a 32gb instead of a 16gb. Then I also thought that I should probably wait for the 2nd wave of iPhones which is usually the iPhong "#"S. People say those usually have better improvements. What do you guys think?

My Verizon contract is up in 30 days, that's good news incase the iPhone 5 has an issue, by then the kinks will be worked out. And I get to keep my old plan, but the Verizon Rep said it will cost me just 3.00( three dollars) more a year due to the data usage thing, getting the 32gb black one, no price increase for me, I'm very happy. I use no more then 2g's of data a month, that's why I'm happy

Was just doing a little reading this morning trying to learn a little about my incoming iphone 5. Can across this site to read a bit about it. Can across an interesting blip where someone compares the new phone to a Rolex(4th banner down). It thought it was worth posting up here. Now I know made the right choice.

I think it's 5000 texts, 900 anytime mins with 5 people I can call without being charged for the minutes and 2g of data. And the phone is either 199.00 or 299.00, I forget, it's the 32gb phone. She said I don't use nearly enough data to change plans. I'm always hooked up to WIFi is why, so no overage on data for me. basically, I keep my old plan I've had for years. Been with them since 1993 Edit: I guess I am switching from unlimited data to just 2g, historically I don't go over 1g

I went from a Motorola Razor flip to a Droid X2. The sales clerk said wow, thats quite an upgrade. Yeah, I usually wait a while on these things.
I love my Droid and it will likely be a long time before I change to anything, Droid or otherwise. Maybe by the iphone 10.
