Not sure if it's going anywhere but they are supposedly investigating an apartment complex in Revere MA after a suspicious man kept driving by a police barracks repeatedly. More to come.

Very sad and tragic day. I was in one of the taller buildings right by the finish line and the first and second explosion was so strong that it shook my entire office. My thoughts and prayers are with all of those and their families affected.

An horrendous crime.

Deep feelings go out to all those innocently affected.

This kind of thing has to stop.

Have heard that another device had been found in Kenmore Square, and was detonated by Boston Bomb Squad. Was not reported on TV, but an Apt Building on Brookline Ave across from Fenway was evacuated earlier this evening. Aforementioned info came from a BPD cop.

It was very bad day for running community, city of Boston and US as a whole. My thoughts are with the families of the people affected by this horrendous crime.

I have been flying out of Newark as this was unfolding and I kept checking on status of all my friends that ran in Boston yesterday. It was quite nerve wracking day. Everyone from my running club is accounted for and safely on their way home - luckily all of them finished well ahead of the blasts and they were on green line when this happened.

I hope that the officials will soon find the perpetrators and deal with them as they deserve.

First my deepest condolences to anyone else affected by this tragedy.
I had been attending the Boston Marathon for years always waiting by the grandstand to cheer on runners and friends who decided to take on the crazy act of running the Boston marathon.

I was not there yesterday and it was for the simple fact that I couldn't get off work. I have friends and a future brother in law who were all very close to what happened. One of them was 100 feet away from the first bomb going off (he lives in new york but was in town because his sister was running it for a charity).

I can't believe that people would go to this level of attacking innocence I just can not comprehend it. I truly hope they find the people or person who made this happen. I can't even think straight today. I also had a friend end up in the hospital yesterday because of this (luckily she only needed stitches.

It's funny I could have easily been there if my boss gave me the OK and who knows if I would have been lucky enough.

Sorry for rambling on just not sure where else to post!

Somewhere in America this morning, a sociopath sits watching all of the news shows and grinning. And countless others begin formulating a plan. This is the reward for them in the age of unlimited electronic networking.

Cowardly. Pure evil. But justice WILL be done. Bless those stricken and their families. Thankful there was so much medical response already there for the race. My guess is some home-grown psycho with a grudge.

Two bombs go off. No one knows if there's more. People fleeing in panic. First responders run TOWARD the scene including (captured on video) two brave army reservists. That's the heart of what makes me love my country and what it stands for. That's the only good I can draw from this right now.

Yes it is upsetting that they may be gloating and basking in the reflected glow of their TV screen.

IMHO, that same electronic network levels the field against this type of heinous attack - the many security cameras, video cameras and info sharing networks will also help nab the perps.

Nova Scotia is our favorite Canadian Province. Boston & Halifax have a remarkable relationship, sadly, due to an explosion almost 100 years ago.

I was reminded of how proud I am to have had the honor of being a "first responder" (the term wasn't in vogue until after 9/11 when everyone started to realize what we actually did).....

Just a tragedy...that also brings out the best in so many people...

In the 7th Inning stretch tonight at Yankee Stadium they will be playing Sweet Caroline. For those that dont know, its a Neil Diamond song that is traditionally played in Fenway Park during Sox home games. A small but heart felt gesture from NY'ers to Boston folks. The greatest American sports rivalry is put aside for our fellow Americans.

correction, playing it now!

Horrid. I hate how other countries are instantly to be blamed in these situations. Hopefully some perpetrator/s is/are caught so they are punished accordingly to the chaos and pain they caused.

Your right, there is a long history of goodwill between our 2 cities ! It seems whenever we visit Boston everyone we talk to seems to have a relative or knows somebody in Nova Scotia. My family loves Boston(and cheer for all your sports teams) and feel really bad that there is nothing we can do to help.

An update claims the Chinese consulate in New York told The Associated Press the 3rd fatality is a Chinese national.

And I believe the FBI is correct, "Someone knows who did this"...
