Pretty sure this guy was in the original its a mad mad mad mad world
I'm looking forward to reading these works and watching the film.

Thanks for piquing my interest.

He certainly was, as J. Algernon Hawthorne.

I knew he looked familiar... My father saw that movie when it first came out at the drive in when he was a kid and loved it. I saw it for the first time a few years back and loved it. . True classic comedy

Yep silver and silver. Three of my favorites are the 40th, 96 CE, and the 96 GS.

Seve Ballesteros, a true legend on and off the course

My avatar is the late Seve Ballesteros, my childhood hero. May he rest in peace. Seve is the reason why a whole generation of kids picked up the game of golf. His panache, determination, smile, charisma and fighting spirit have influenced golf , especially European golf, more than anything in the last three decades.
Seve’s unique legacy must be the inspiration he has given to so many to watch, support, and play golf, and finally to fight a cruel illness with equal flair, passion, and fierce determination.

And BTW, mine is a Platinum DD that belongs to a family member and not me unfortunately. But more importantly, how about that ridiculous shirt cuff, pretty bad eh?!

Mine is an image I took in the Katmai wilderness a couple of summers ago. A young adult coastal brown bear (grizzly) chilling near a stream waiting for salmon. Just fishin'.

My Standard Poodle. I was in the process of giving her a haircut and shaved her body and was just about to start on her head when I took the shot.

I first discovered Tom Waits when I was 18 - and I'm 53 now. I was walking past Our Price Records in Golders Green Road (that's in North London, by the way) when I heard the most soulful voice ever playing on their music system; I went inside and said to the guy behind the counter "I don't know what that album is, but I've got to have it" (or words to that effect) and I've been a massive fan ever since.

The album, incidentally, was Blue Valentine, and the title track remains one of my all-time favourites. Genius.

Big Tom Waits fan, but I must say that "Real Gone" was the worst recording I've ever heard as far as sound quality goes.
