Brian, I had 4 BB's before I jumped to Apple. The last one, Bold, I had was random dialing people on my contact list WHILE the phone was OFF. That was the last straw for me & that day I called Rogers & ordered my 5. I had originally held off cause I loved the physical keyboard. I still think it's better than touch but I got used to it. I am not so annual about tyops anymore.

I ordered a couple of 64GB 6+ iPhones; both unlocked. One I will keep for sure, but I'm hearing the 6+ is in very short supply so I may resell it. If not, I plan on giving it to my wife for Christmas. She really doesn't care about the latest and greatest, so if I can make a little $$ on it to offset the cost of mine, it's all good. I've got an iPhone 5 I planned on giving her anyway.

They didn't go on sale on Apple's website until about 530EST.

Is that how late it was? I woke up at 3 and gave up at 3:30 when their site and Sprint were still down. Had no issues with my order when I woke back up at 6:30.

Yep. I don't know what the deal was - lots of people on various Apple forums were about it. I read some were able to get through earlier using the Apple Store App, but I was at work so that was not an option.

I mainly bought the 6+ for the resolution and the image stabilization. I like having a 1920x1080 screen. I'm thinking this way I can leave my iPad at home when I go on travel. Or I might just dump my iPad altogether. We'll see. Not paying $50 for a iPhone 6+ case though - eff that.

I stopped using my iPad when I got the Note 2. The 5.5 inch screen will be a revelation when you start using it.

well, these are two wearable tech products. This is the one and only similarity.

A friend had a google glass on last Christmas party. You do not know really what is the use of it, apart from taking pictures of things around you. The product is pretty much 'on other people's face' and you keep talking to it out load. So, those are the reasons why I called it 'stupid'. Or in other words: useless IMHO. It is clear that google does not know why it created the product or its functionality.

On the other hand, the apple watch is promising as a watch and as a small interface for communications and short messages. So, it has potential as a wearable technology. :smoking:

Shesh, people are paying about 300-400 dollars over MSRP on eBay for iPhone 6+ models.

iPhone 6 delivery day tomorrow!!!

I preordered a 64GB iPhone 6 Space Gray from the online Apple store when the preordering went live early last Friday morning. Delivery is set for tomorrow. Can't wait! Sure beats waiting in line. I've done that with all launches back to the iPhone 3GS. My wife will get my hand me down iPhone 5S and my son will get her hand me down iPhone 5. That's how we roll. I always use the eligible upgrade on the family talk plan :)

I got my tracking info from Apple this AM. Surprised to see that it's shipping locally rather than direct from China. That's how they've done past phone launches.

They didn't have many of the 6+. They are in high demand and sold out quickly in the queue....

A crappy pic I squeezed out before trading in my iPhone 5s:

The iPhone 6 (non plus) was easier to get. Despite listing a 4 to 6 week waiting time, AT&T shipped us two that arrived via UPS and FedEx at around 11:00 AM today...

Mine got delivered around 10 this morning but had work to do so didn't fire it up until this afternoon as far pretty impressed, liking the new screen my only grip and this is even with the 6 is that it's hard to get my thumb to access the top right section of the screen when using it single handed.

Also what do you guys keep on your phones? I only ever pick up the 16gb models and pretty much ways have 5-8gb left spare?!

I've had more than 32GB on mine in photos, music, and video. I went with 128GB this time so I can ditch my iPad and just use the iPhone 6 Plus for everything...

I love it. I had the Glalaxy S4 previously and loved the size but despised the OS. Now I have the best of both worlds.

You do need to sacrifice some things you could previously do with one hand, but I was already OK with that having used the S4 previously.

Fo those considering the 6 plus, A size comparison between the 4s, Galaxy S3, Note 3, and iPhone 6 plus. The 6 plus makes the 4s look tiny.

Yeah see that makes sense! I only have 2GB of pics and I always move them over to my laptop and also still use an iPod for my music.

I also have an iPad which when I walk in the door from work I switch to while phone gets put on silent (work phone)

The 2nd from right is the Galaxy S5 and the one all the way on the right is the iPhone 6 Plus.
