When I was a kid I met Western movie star Rory Calhoun. As an adult I played a round of golf with Darius Rucker from Hootie and the Blowfish. Darius was very nice and a good golfer. Recently I got to meet Siegfried from Siegfried and Roy fame in Vegas. He's a really nice man.
No others I can think of at the moment. :) Cheers, Tim |

Many years ago, I started up a friendly weather-related conversation with a stranger in the parking lot of a local drug store. We were both waiting for a particularly heavy downpour to ease up before heading back to our vehicles. After exchanging a few pleasantries, I looked at the guy, started thinking about his voice and said something like, "Holy Shit!, you're Paul McCartney!". Just like the rest of us, he was at the store picking up something for the wife.
We talked for a few more minutes (mostly about how much he and Linda loved Tucson) and when the rain started to let up, shook hands and headed to our cars. It was a very cool experience.

eric clapton incidentally steped on my mum's foot at the sistine chapel in rome in '95. he was with sheryl crow if i am not mistaken. he said sorry, we did not sue him. :-)
I met nigel mansell when i was a kid and even ate of his birthday cake at the williams paddock of the hungarian grand prix. as i am kind of involved in sports i meet a few big stars, the lasts being alberto tomba and marc girardelli (he has alwqys been my favourite skier). ah, and few months ago i was on the same flight from budapest to paris with everlast and BARBARA PALVIN. if you don't know her, she is worth a google search.

Oh, I just remembered two actors we saw on the Upper West Side, NYC (we spend a lot of time there over the years).
1. Tony Roberts, who was in Woody Allen Movies like Annie Hall, was in an exclusive, very small chocolate store. We were right behind him and all I could say when he turned was "It's you!" He smiled and said Yep. 2. On the corner of Columbus and something, we were waiting for the light to change and Mr. Frakes (Number 1 from Star Trek: TNG) and his soap opera wife (Genie Francis I think) were just standing next to us. I just gawked. He was clean shaven and put on a bit of weight (this was well after the series ended). |

Pierre Nkurunziza, Vice President of Burundi in NYC last month during UN meetings on behalf of my company. Super nice guy. My company is important, I am a replaceable cog in the machine; but it has allowed me to visit with three heads of state (beginning with the first Pres. Bush) and this VP as a result.

I don't live in an overly expensive place but had an NBA player across the street and two pro hockey players down the street. There is a TV celebrity the many would know next door. Most people don't know he lives there. The NBA guy was a disaster to have as a neighbor and I'm glad he is gone. Used to see many Magic players driving back and forth going to his house.
