and with a new strap!

its good you are friendly with the owners of the restaurant, they will hopefully be more accommodating in giving you camera footage to help with the case

I most definitely learned a lesson. Unfortunately, the 44 is to big for me I think. I loved my diver, just hurts to buy the same watch twice. I don't want to look at it and think this is a 45k(buying it twice) driver. Still depressed!

Hopefully some people here can learn from my mistakes. Thanks for the support!

I immediately checked the floor to see if it maybe fell off my wrist. It was gone! Someone stole my watch right off my wrist! I honestly feel like I want to cry!

I filed a police report and called AP. I unfortunately did not insure the watch. Any suggestions...

Everyone be careful with your watches. You never know...
Has it ever occured to you that maybe you removed the watch from your wrist in the bathroom and forgot to put it back on. Stealing a watch off the wrist without the person knowing about it is really next to impossible and only seen in movies IMHO..

not sure about prices in hong kong but here in the uk i explored 2 options for my ROO steel which was around this price...

individual jewellery insurance ~$400 US per year covers theft, loss, accidental damage abroad as well as at home, no excess

added to house insurance ~$200 US same cover but only in home country, believe excess was around £500

personally went with the first option

I just insured my AP today after reading this... Hope I never have to use it but it's nice knowing I'm covered. I went with Jewelers Mutual. They were very helpful on the phone.
