Angelo, I believe that it was the dark coffee, going on three years old now. The clip is the mini viper, both are a great bang for your buck and I've given several of each for gifts, that's a true testament to the quality in my opinion.

Thanks Tim. I went with the full sized Viper money clip and the Tobacco colored Saddleback knowing that it would darken considerably over time. I fully expect to be very pleased with both items.

Yep, I'd be surprised if you're not delighted with both, even if you're r not its not like a huge amount of money spent.

I love carrying both. Here is a David Yurman money clip and my Bally credit card wallet, which I really love. lots of pockets. BTW, I'm a new guy on this forum looking to expand my information on watches. 20160111_161458.jpg

Not a problem, just passing it along, it was TRF that turned me on to both items several years ago!

I've been on Amazon and Sooooooo close to hitting the purchase button for the items shown above. Im trying to find a money clip I can fit my wallet badge onto. I even had work make me a 2nd set of credentials today so that if I press purchase, Ill have them for the card holder......... Just not sure if I would enjoy them. Such a tough decision for not much money at all. grrrrrrr

I use both, I have a michael kors tri fold with a vintage police money clip I found at the local pawn shop. The wallet dissapears in my back and front pockets on jeans and I'm always getting IDed so it's nice not having to slide it out of the card pockets as this wallet didn't have an ID window in it.

have also seen my share of binder clips.. in my experience those who are seriously wealthy do not care about having a show off money clip as they are secure enough to not need to impress others and the guys with nice money clips have a significant amount of their net worth in them

Must admit that I was impressed with some of these, but the shipping from the USA to the UK is nearly as much as the clip.

Any change I acquire I put in a giant glass water jug. At the end of the year I cash it in and usually get about 100$.

There's no tipping or large bills in Australia so money clips are fairly uncommon.
I've been using a Montblanc car wallet for years now. |

Just an update here. I received both of my items today and I'm extremely pleased with both.
The Superior Titanium money clip is the best I've ever owned...light as a feather with a cutout masculine design. The tension is so good that it will hold one bill easily without coming loose. The Saddleback leather card holder is also a quality product. It's great if you're able to cut down what you usually carry in your wallet. I got mine in the Tobacco color which is terrific looking right now and will darken some as it ages. The tolerances are tight right now and it will not stay folded on its own so it needs to stretch out a bit. This was expected based on everything I've read from others who have a Saddleback product. All in all I recommend both products with no reservation. |

They both look great Angelo, I actually thought that the Superior Titanium package was empty when I got it, they really are that light.

You're right Tim. I can't believe how light it is. What I really like, aside from its looks, is the tension. It really does hold one bill easily unlike my old clip that didn't adjust to the number of bills I was holding. Both are really great products Thanks for steering me in the right direction.
