How does wearing a Rolex make you feel?

Something like this. I look at myself in the mirror just like this. Lol.

NO, not really

When I wear a Rolex, men want to be me and women want to be with me. I'm better looking, smarter, much more charming, clairvoyant, bullet-proof, and have more hair on my head.

I'm also poorer.

Then I see a guy on the subway with a Patek. He looks down at my wrist, then right into my eyes, into my soul. He has won. I immediately collapse and start weeping uncontrollably.

All jokes aside, it makes me feel great when I'm alone wandering around and I look down at it. I appreciate it for what it is, an amazingly crafted piece of engineering that will last a lifetime. Can't really say that many other things.

When I'm around people, I tend to pull my sleeve down or turn my wrist away. I do get self conscious more than I like to admit. I don't feel bad for wearing a nice watch, but knowing in the back of my mind that there are so many people that have so much less bothers me to my core.
Nice comment. Well said

Props... People in my closer circles tend to poke at the fact that I have hippie/hipster tendencies, yet wear a Rolex. I don't fit in boxes. Boxes are boring.

Sticking to topic, I feel like myself. My watch is a ticking reminder of how valuable my time is, and to live my life accordingly.

I feel the same way my parents generation felt when they bought their first Cadillac or other dream car.

Knowing you are wearing one of the most demanded, accurate, durable, tried and tested, best built watches in the world...... you can only feel GREAT.

Makes me feel sentimental... Think of my mom often when I look at my wrist and see the watch she wore for years and years (although I don't wear it everyday since it's dressier).

To me the best thing is when i notice that im wearing a model for months without even thinking about it... And without anybody around me noticing it either.

Only then, i think im alright with it.

Glad to enjoy those things that matter to me: Submariner, Wayfarers, Mont Blanc pen, London Fog briefcase....those are my vices. They make me glad.

Unfortunately, we are often judged by our appearance. Wearing a Rolex is a non-verbal way of expressing my appreciation for timeless quality and accomplishment. People do notice what kind of a watch we wear and make instant judgements on our character -- sometimes in a split second.

Wearing my Rolex makes me feel happy. For me, I enjoy something that represents quality and a timeless design. I'm conservative with my attire and detest "bling" so my SD4K adds something special without being overly flashy.
It's also a reminder to me that I've worked hard and to expect the same quality from myself that I expect from that watch.

I used to get excited when I first bought one. Now I find it as exciting as putting on a pair of socks. I guess the honeymoon is long gone and over. Maybe it time to buy a new watch.

It reminds me of how hard I have worked and serves as a whip to push myself even harder forward.

Without working my ass off, I would have never been able to afford a Rolex.
