I understand where he's coming from though. A small logo is ok, but some are over the top. |

I generally don't like items with visible branding, but watches, athletic shoes, cars and polo shirts are among the exceptions, simply because it's typical for these items to bear the brand.

I don't really wear traditional polo's anymore, they're all golf/sweat wicking - Peter Millar is probably what I have the most of.

Slim fit around the waist and fit my shoulders and arms really well. Their shorts and golf pants are great too. Pretty much the only casual brand I wear now. |

Lacoste then Ralph Lauren. I find the Lacoste to be better made.

Sunspel polos are a good mid-range option. Typically made in portugal, cut pretty generously compared to most designer labels

Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, aren't what they were. Neither are Lacoste for that matter. I'm a bit of a polo shirt addict so I've got dozens by various brands. At the moment I'm just buying Paul & Shark although I have about a dozen Lacoste's in my wardrobe. My favourite is an Italian brand that sells for about £200 in Harrods. I picked it up for about £15 in TKMax. I can't think of the brand at the moment. Versace are good also. You name the brand and I'll have one somewhere.
If you want an inexpensive polo Marlboro aren't bad. |

RL but only the soft ones. The woven ones with a bit of texture fade faster and are not half as soft (also less expensive). I have a blue one that is probably 15 yeas old and it's like an old pair of jeans or land-rover. Tons of character and more comfortable than pajamas.

Well my Psycho Bunny shirt arrived from Neiman's today. And it's a good 8-10 inches longer than a Lacoste shirt. It fits well other than the length. Any of you Psycho Bunny guys get them hemmed up? Or maybe this just isn't the brand for me.

Croft & Barrow Easy Care Polos from Kohl's. 100%cotton, $12.99
They last a long time and are comfortable. I wear them 7 days a week. No need to spend a fortune for a quality Polo shirt. |

I have a bunch (dozens) of polo shirts that I never wear anymore.
When I worked, I wore one every day I didn't spend in court. My only requirement was that they be made of 100% cotton. I also steered away from brands with obnoxious logos. I probably should get those shirts out of storage and wear them more often.

I wear J. Crew polos a lot, since the "logos" on them are all different - can't really tell what brand it is. They fit well, and have lasted through many washes. After those, RL, Lacoste, and Southern Tide are all great.

Lacoste & Psycho Bunny for comfort and durability. Uniqlo for being best bang for the buck & no logo.

I’m a big fan of cotton polos from Perlis (local in New Orleans but you can order online).
I recently bought a polo from untuckit. On sale (they’re expensive). It’s all synthetic and fits perfectly. I don’t play golf but am told it’s a golf shirt. I’m a big fan, but at their prices can only buy on sale. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
