The SS Sky Dweller is my favorite Rolex release but my overall favorite is the Heuer Autavia. I knew it would be. I'm just not sure about the 42 mm.

Nothing for me, which is good for my wallet. I do like the blue Sky-Dweller and WG Daytona on Oysterflex.

The Cellini is the most interesting watch if the bunch, IMHO.

I know that is why I was confused at first as to why they would release a version like that. Trying to work and keep up with all the release's today is making my head spin! I Should have taken a off lol! |

It's just like the "two tone" Steel and white gold DateJusts. On the white gold models, the only gold is the bezel. So the entire watch outside of the bezel is steel. Wouldn't want a fluted steel bezel anyway. |

You have to click over on different variants at the bottom of the rolex page. They are indeed there. As are a few different variants of the daytona on oyster flex. The wg one is kinda hot

Personally, as we expected, I'm glad to see the stainless steel DJ 41 especially in the blue dial and fluted bezel. Very nice.

Rolex 2017 models out
The seadweller looks like they made it for guys who want the deep sea, but is a little too big for them.

This release is exactly what I expected. Everyone was going on about Coke GMTs and tons of new models. Rolex moves slowly and the rarely revisit the past. We all knew the Datejust 41 was a lock. We knew something different would happen with the Sea Dweller since it was discontinued. They applied the Oysterflex on a new model.
Everyone who is "disappointed" expects Rolex to release all sorts of new editions and crazy models on a yearly basis. That's what other brands do and it's why they aren't as successful. Rolex has always refined existing lines and every 10 years or so introduces something new. I am very surprised we have a stainless steel Sky Dweller. Only shock for me this Basel. I love this release. |

A lot of coke fans (not me) are disappointed. Perhaps next year ...
