Congrats on an awesome watch!
Do you think the hands and bezels of the SD43 and DSSD are the same size, or just very close? Would love to see side-by-side pics of the SD43 and DSSD clasps. |

Hi Andrew, I deal with Newcastle but I do know Andrew from the metro centre store. I may have a tough choice soon though as I'm waiting for a Daytona which apparently won't be much longer (fingers crossed). Really like your new sea dweller though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I know Rolex updated the SD4K because the Sub was eatings its sales and now it looks like they may have to update the DSSD as the SD43 will eat its sales....

Wear them all! (Not at the same time as that would just look silly). Then, if your thinking of selling one get it serviced and it's good as new Watches meant to be worn. Just not when your welding as that did mess up my PO bezel which had to be replaced unfortunately Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I did receive a 16200 for my 21st birthday back in 1993, and I wore that for 10 years and wow its battered, been tempted to have it serviced and the glass replaced, but then it wouldn't be "my watch" |

Just wear them anyway, the first scratch is always the worst but then it's over with and you can just enjoy them I do understand from the collectors point of view why you'd keep them locked up but it just feels nice having the choice to wear a different model on your wrist. Huge Congratulations on a beautiful watch!
And thanks for the pictures and the youtube video!! The dial looks to be the same size as BLNR... is the larger size due to larger bezel?

I'm waiting for white. My brother managed to get a SS black (from Andrew in the metro centre as it happens) so it's got to be a white dial now I do prefer the white as it happens but can't help but think the black will look better in years to come. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Very true. On another note I do like the platinum Daytona as well, but just don't think I could accept the depreciation. That being said, when I tried one on a while back it was a very heavy piece to the point where you'd always be aware it's hanging there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Freakin Awesome video Sir @Abyss
I think the ceramic ball bearing rotation system of the racheting bezel for the SD50 has also been updated , another patent perhaps ? The bezel rotation appears to have a gear-like industrial feel to it , reminds me of a Damasko. I have an Omega PO 8500 model and I can tell you the bezel clicks here seems louder, crispier and of a higher pitch Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk |
