In that case tell them that with VAT at 19%, insurance Costing on shipping just over $1000 to give you the same discount, u will collect have a holiday on the savings

With an AD you could get quicker. I can only speak for KV but he certainly will look after his US distributor first as they supported him when he was unknown and thus it's pay back

My understanding is that if you ship to USA no VAT but USA import fee that is generally less than 19% but exact percentage dependent on country of import. However I am not sure what the AD take is but a lot of savings there. But the USA taxes are also charged to the AD so major savings is the AD cut.

A member from US said that importing a watch there you were recquired to pay 5 or 7%, if they can give you the 20% tax refund in Holland might be interesting. Not sure about the US import, just what a member said...

The price on the website excludes VAT so does the Netherlands price include or exclude. If it excludes the USA is way cheaper and if includes VAT then if you claim it back there's about EUR 10000 you can get back by taking a holiday

Karl..My price is inclusive of taxes and delivery. So you make a good point. I travel overseas about 6x per year and about half to Europe. I hope that perhaps one of my work meetings can correlate in time with completion of the watch. Truthfully I love coming to Europe but so tired of being on planes..

Get to know first if you go there if they can do tax refund, in France many shops and others don't do it, my grey dealer friend does it but he told me it's a headache accounting and paperwork wise, most don't do it...

Nope, make the decision yourself once Tim or Bart send you images of the available designs – don’t turn it into a designed by committee.
You know what looks good and which colours you prefer, etc – we’ll just wait in anticipation to see what you ended up ordering.

You better get to know, Kari has tax free prices, so you need to add your country's taxes and duties

I know i am not paying tax they made that clear--- it is on the invoice. What I am confused about is what taxes would be charged to the company if sent to the USA from the Netherlands. I told them i wanted to leave open the option of picking up in person vs having them ship to me in USA. But it is clear I pay no tax and the price was inclusive.

I am also not sure if i pick it up in person if i would have to pay them VAT and then they expect me to get it back or if they are paying the VAT and I could get that back if I go through the process at the airport and like was suggested I could use the delta to pay for the trip to Europe.. That is what is not clear to me.

Congrats and beautiful watches.

I am almost sorry I became aware of them because they are out of my price range.

Understood.

Making it this far down the path is worthy of congratulations in itself!
