But sometimes I will look at my watch and think that my clothes and watch are totally mismatched. |

Yep. Watch should match color family and level of formality of the outfit for sure.

Sometimes I wear black Santoni shoes with my IWC Portugieser on black Santoni leather strap. Other times I try to match the color of leather straps with my shoes/belt. However, black, blue, and white dial watches go with almost anything. It is more of a what kind of occasion I am attending which dictates rather the style than color combo.

I do every day. I have a 116600 and happen to wear black and sometimes denim, so it's easy. Everything matches perfect lol!
