Because there is a lot of feeling now from guys that have bought a WG piece (BLRO/Skydweller) on models that feel as though they have been done wrongly from Rolex by having SS versions released having the exact same dials/arrangements etc....which I can kind of relate and understand their logic as well.

If you buy YG/RG - well these is no mistaking them for PM pieces.

That makes sense. I get it. It's one of the hesitations to me about buying a DD40 WG, to be frank.

I will say, however, that to a careful eye, SS and WG/Plat look quite different. You can even see from the photos on the Rolex site of the WG/SS jubilee that the WG has a very different color tone to it. One of the things drawing me toward a DJ41 in WG/SS on jubilee (versus a DD40) is that a) it's a great looking piece b) the complementary color tones of SS and WG create a unique look that the all-WG models don't.

I won’t ever buy Rolex WG either. Actually wanted a platinum Daytona. That’s not gonna happen. Buying a Patek with that money. Don’t trust Rolex as a company anymore. My 2 cents.

Amazing. Such a gorgeous watch.

I'd certainly pick olive over blue.
