I know it’s above the budget you set yourself and I respect that. But I would have went steel bezel dj41 oyster band and had the PCL links brushed. Best of both world and not too much to get it done. The black dial on the dj41 is the best black dial they make IMO.

I agree the DJ41 black Sunburst dial is stunning! The smooth bezel with oyster was 7,350 so still within budget. I just felt I wanted brushed this round and the price of the AK didn't hurt either.

I did consider the dj41 and brushing the pcl's however if I bought that watch is enjoy it as is. I still do like Pcl I just wanted something different and the AK really pulled on me.

Besides in a couple years I'll prob add one more and my guess is DJ41 or Op39 white dial .. and will prob go white DJ.. but I. A few years who knows.. things change if I go white will also prob go fluted bezel.

Thanks ! My choice seems to definitely as you say buck the trend / go against the popular forum choices.

I really foresee this one staying with me and feel confident in my final selection. It was a truly tough choice as all 3 are Incredible watches.

Great choice. That’s the one I would have selected.
Enjoy it in the very best of health.

What they said!

Excellent choice, that mirrors what I'd have done - and soon hope to do. :)

Congratulations!
