I sold a BLNR for my 1675 Pepsi and have never looked back with regret. I'm really enjoying the patina of the older watch and I never see any others like mine, ever.

To me it came down to one and only one factor: the bezel colours.
I was watching with bated breath on the night of the release of the new GMT but when I saw it I immediately didn't want it because the bezel is pink and purple not blue and red.
16710 is the sweet spot. I just don't seem to be able to save fast enough though as the price keeps leaping UP.

Vintage Rules, more character, more history, just as accurate and more durable.

More durable? Are you referring to the 'vulnerability' of the ceramic bezel?
My thoughts too.
A replacement bezel is HOW MUCH!

I love the newer GMT's because of the ceramic bezel (love the look and feel), updated clasp and I really like the polished center links. I had a Coke 16170T and really enjoyed, but prefer the modern GMT's.

I voted for the modern interpretation on this one.
I just think they are so similar looking that all of the modern developments, particularly with the bracelet are too good to pass up.

If you are a 1-watch guy, then I would definitely say the 126710 as you can always wear it and never be worried that you will damage it.

If you have a collection with other watches you can bang around a little, I would probably go for the 1675.

But pretty much an impossible choice, and will also come down the condition of the 1675. At a similar price (roughly 10k) I would probably go for the 126710 as better examples of the 1675 are a bit more

New PEPSI for me. I like bigger size and ceramic bezel. Old model is for collection IMO.

If it was a Giveaway prize, I prefer the modern Pepsi. If I was buying for my own collection, I’d lean towards the 1675.

Weighing my chance of winning a Giveaway, I’d buy the 1675 all day long.

Can’t vote on the poll via TapaTalk - don’t know why they don’t support polls...
