As a BLNR owner for 4 years now, although it is a great watch, no it is not my favorite. Amongst Rolexes, it is in my top few picks. But amongst all the other brands out there, including some in my collection, there are plenty of other pieces I prefer.

The BLNR drew me back to Rolex ownership after an almost seven year drought. It’s my favorite, goes everywhere and is rugged.
You have to like blue to love it, and I do.

It has to compete with Submariners, Skydwellers and the new GMT BLRO. Tough battle for any watch

Q: Is the BLNR your favorite watch on the market?

It looks good in pictures but when I’ve tried it on, I came to the following conclusions; The blue 24 hour hand is nowhere near present enough on the dial in comparison to the colour red or another vivid colour,

...But I totally understand if you want a GMT but to not be loud visually, the BLNR is for you!

The pepsi GMT was my grail watch but on the wrist the red hand irritated me and a much prefer the blue hand on my BLNR.

Just to add I think I actually prefer my 114060

Nope. Not even in my top 5. I understand the appeal to some, but it's not for me.

It’s my favourite watch I own. But out of every watch available? Hell no. I’d have a Nautilus if I could afford one :)

The GMT is certainly my favorite in the Rolex lineup, but the humble LN, the most versatile in my opinion. Very close second is the Exp 2, 42mm, black dial.

Definitely a top 5 for me. I love the versatility (at from my perspective) of the black and blue. OP - that's an awesome photo of the blue section. It's currently my default daily while others (like my white Daytona) are regularly mixed it.

I'll be the first to admit it doesn't always look like that in reality. Sometimes I feel like the blue is a bit louder than how that image gives off.

Chicken or the egg. I attest that it's a best seller because it's hard to get, not the other way around.

Marketing works.

Wouldn’t say my favorite as that is reserved for the Bluesy but do love mine and in fact wearing it now as I type.

It is one of my favorites period. I don’t see me ever parting with mine even if I were homeless in the future! No watch can be my absolute favorite. Perhaps I would say it is my favorite GMT Master II.

What I would say hands down is that the BLNR kicks the steel Pepsi’s ass. Once their price is at parity or if Rolex were adequately supplying the market with them, I think the love for the BLRO would quickly subside.

We watch lovers tend to rank watches by availability and market value. Some may deny it but it is the truth.
