Okay. I am not good with keeping my trap shut. The problem is that I can't find any pictures of what it is. It was designed to my exact spec with Tage and Nick's help and suggestions. That said, no pics I can post.

I am figuring out how to size the renderings that I came up with.

That said, it is one heck of a car. I am essentially always shopping for cars and looking for the next best thing. But I did recently get the itch. So I upped my game and went to half a dozen (more really) different dealerships to kick some tires.

Mercedes, Porsche, McCLaren, Ferrari, Aston, Audi, BMW and even Maserati. I had some fun with it over the last few weeks.

I absolutely love the GTS, but it really is a race car. After the 109 incident, I decided again that I want a cruiser. But I still wanted performance. I also wanted super sexy looks along with comfort. Mostly, I wanted some open air driving. I love to be on the road and I simply wanted a damn good driving car that is fun.

And based on the thread topic, I wanted something I felt comfortable driving everywhere and anywhere. At the same time, I still wanted something exotic(ish).

So I will post something soon. As soon as I can resize the renderings.

So funny I came across this thread as I am never in this section.

I have never owned a Super Car and I don't think I ever will. the price tag maybe one of the reasons, but also the idea of using it as a daily driver would be difficult living in Vancouver. The weather here blows and its wet 75% of the time, so not sure how much use Id get out of it. That said though, the idea of building a sleeper car is pretty appealing to me.

Something like this.......

RS4 is one the baddest cars built. Absolute animal of a car. I was in a customers once and it was scary. And yeah, they tune really easy.

Mine won't be a sleeper. That is for sure. But while I might go fast 0-60, I will not be moving at those speeds. I just want to have some fun.

Seth glad to see you're still active on the boards, been a while since we last spoke so hope things are well.

Honestly I don't know too much about cars, but lately i have been looking more and more into them. This audi clip kind of sparked my interest. the whole sub culture of tuning is intense and there seems like endless possibilities for a lot of vehicles.

Are you planning on getting a new vehicle anytime soon?

Okay. Here we go.

One post specifically tickled my fancy when the poster said “no one ever looked back and wished they were tamer in life”. Something like that anyway.

I passed on the 458 because I just couldn’t take the chance of a breakdown. And if I’m that worried, I have to admit I can’t afford it. Loved the 570 spider, but getting in and out was not easy for me. And also too expensive. Not sure I can feel comfortable in such a car. Not yet.

This wasn’t all that much cheaper. Especially how it was spec’d. But it’s more palatable, will have better depreciation and it suits me better at this time in my life.

Completely irresponsible. But live one time. And besides cars and watches, I’m mostly super responsible. So here she is. It’s gonna be a long wait.

Spec’d out with ceramic brakes, rear axle steering, 1.5” lift, sports package and just about everything else Tage, Nick and I though was important.

Oh yeah, I also got it in manual.

Targa 4 GTS.

Fantastic choice! You're going to love the Targa! Is there a reason you passed on the new 911 Cab that just dropped today?

I'm a huge fan of open air motoring myself. Had 2 Porsche 911 cabs of different years and itineration!

Thank you. I am very excited. I was given the choice of an allocation of a 99.2 S or this.

I like the look of these better. And I really wanted a Targa.

I don't love the look of full convertible soft tops. This kind of gave me the best of all worlds.

I love how you kept it manual. Such a drivers car!

MY brother just picked up his manual 991.2 GT3 this past weekend, and it brought me back to how wonderful these 911's really are.

Kudos to you my friend!

It was a tough call. I have a bad back, so I was nervous to go this route.

But it has been great lately. And manuals are a dying breed. I thought if I am ever going to have a manual again, now is the time.

I am all for an automatic. I loved having it on my SL and the GTS. But excited about this.

Congrats Seth - beautiful car. Once you go Porsche.....
Love that color. Plus targa is the perfect combo of performance and cruising. I'm not a fan of the convertible look but I LOVE the targa. Plus there's plenty of HP there to satisfy.
BIG fan of your decision. I can predict a love affair!

See a lot of nice options there...aka "Porsche tax". OH? You wanted leather AND the smoking package? ugh.
PCCB - nice move. People don't get how nice those ceramic brakes are to have...or the initial cost!

Ummm. Yeah. Ridiculous.

But I was building for resale in mind too. I put all the important stuff in.

And gotta admit as much as I love the ceramic beaches, the pop of color was also part of the decision.
