Are you young? In shape? Most 20 year olds don't wear these 30K gold watches for obvious reasons. Price point being #1.

I love both so I got both.
37-year old mostly casual dresser, and the Smurf is my daily wearer.

Clearly you don’t own (can’t afford) one.

three respondents have the 116618ln and 116619lb combination. i understand why. the 116619lb is a unique watch and colour combination that really works. the blue dial being liquid gloss is extraordinary and is a modern stella. the combo with the white metal sometimes just looks amazing.

yg is yg and almost defines beauty. the ln version gives a little variety.

either 116618lb (gloss or sunburst blue) or 116618ln or 116619lb - all amazing watches.

I’m really old and out of shape but My DD is Everose. Do you suggest I switch to yellow gold?

WG would be my choice and probably the only way I would part with my 116610 Sub is if I made a trade for it.
I have a 126660 Deepsea so it would be a good fit for my collection.

The watch is a "smurf" Diamond Dial from 2009. Strange how 2 pictures taken 30 minutes apart with different camera modes makes the watch look?

Smurf because I can wear it everyday, all day. It dresses up, it dresses down. It does it all while looking dandy.

There is no way I could pull off wearing the YG every single day, in every single situation.

I actually asked my wife at the Wynn boutique, she picked the smurf right away.

I pull off the YG every day in every single situation. Maybe except for changing the oil/working on cars/yard work/ stuff like that. Nobody in public notices, it is just a watch. Have not heard one comment about my watch. Just goes to show that nobody really cares. People are too busy and consumed with themselves.

This works for you, no doubt.

Also, the YG sub is iconic in a way that the smurf is not.

Maybe it’s just the projection thing? Heck, maybe the YG doesn’t really work with my skin tone. Whatever it is, it’s just not a daily wearer to me and the smurf is. Just to be clear, I wouldn’t daily a YG anything else either.

I really do like the perceived versatility the smurf offers me.

Yellow gold blue face sunburst. I did not like yellow gold until I saw this watch. Had to have it and it opened my mind to look at other options. I would say shit like that’s not my style but I never even had seen the watch I was referring to. You got a wonderful problem, u can’t go wrong on whatever u do. Enjoy and congratulations.

Just buy the one you like the most, not the one every one else does.

I am 26 and this is false. The younger generation just has more tech jobs so we afford our YG subs faster.

No worries! You cant beat a gold Sub regardless of which one you choose. It is a watch that the majority of the masses will never own. A special piece indeed.
