BB58 with a date. Or simply a smaller dive watch with date function. We can see the market is moving back towards smaller watches. Bb58 is Tudors hottest watch. The new datejust 36mm has slimmer lugs and this change is well received. Clearly Rolex can see smaller is becoming better. If I was a betting man we will see the new rolex submariner move away from the maxi case like the dj 36.

Pelagos is 7 yrs, it was updated in '15 with inhouse movement. Maybe a redesign for 2020

It's very clear Tudor will never please everyone! Having sat with BB58 on and the 41 versions, for me the BB58 is perfect, but thats just for me with a smaller wrist.
I suspect they will just add some coloured versions of the BB58 and would like to see a GMT in the 58. |

I just thought about it. Realistically, they would continue to work on their cash cow reference. I have a feeling the Tudor Basel 2020 release will be yet another BlackBay variant. Specifically, a BlackBay GMT Silver and Gold. You heard it here first.

I predict a new reference...
Rolex YearJust™. Initially in all PM only, the YearJust™ addresses the forgetfulness of a key Rolex demographic by showing the current year in a window at the 3 o'clock location, with easy readability thanks to the iconic Rolex Cyclops™. Each year, as the ball drops, a YearJust™ user can QwikSet™ the year ahead by one. Developmentally, the YearJust™ is based on the DateJust, with the 1 through 31 wheel replaced with a 19 through 49 wheel. The date wheel has been expertly decoupled from the time keeping mechanism to accommodate the manual yearly advance. The wheel will be replaced as part of regular maintenance, so the user is assured to always have decades of years available. Wheels starting with "80" and "Pig" will be available in select markets. In 18k YG on Oyster with smooth bezel, YearJust™ MSRP starts at $47,995USD. |

Good guess. And I predict a new movement for a Sub, probably the Smurf for this coming year and a couple years later the new movements will appear in SS models.

Yeah, this would be great. I really, really, really wish they'd come out with an in-house Chrono without snowflake hands. Love the hands on my Pelagos and GMT, but not if they block out a portion of the subdials.

Pretty sure we’re getting trolled again. 2019 was the 60th anniversary of the Tudor Submariner Date and the 50th anniversary of the Ranger and Tudor gave us an instagram hyped PO1 stank bomb, no offense to Ninja Boy. We will not get anything but more snowflakes hands and color variations of existing pieces. A couple of which I can imagine cool, but nonetheless troll central

I know this is resurrecting an old thread, but it seems appropriate now that we're actually in to 2020. I'd like to see an update to the tool watch side of the business. The Pelagos was an thoroughly modern interpretation of a mechanical dive watch. The North Flag was similar, but it would have been nice to see it executed in titanium. I think the integrated bracelet is a little limiting too.
Personally I'd love to see a white dial, fixed bezel GMT in titanium, but with regular lugs. I'd be happy to see it use the arrow hands of the ranger, or to stick with the snowflake hands, I think either would look good. |

All I know is that Tudor is likely to suprise with something unexpected. Whether you like the outcome or not, they usually surprise!

Based on "rumorz" I believe it's highly likely that the Sub gets the new movement. The big question is will it be the simple addition of a small crown at 6 o'clock on the dial ? Or will there be more drastic renos to the case and dial. If so expect a slower rollout and maybe some variations, ie Hulk and PM's, could be temporarily discontinued or shuffled around. The possibility of a blue dial/bezel in steel with Oysterflex may not be as farfetched as it sounds.

Supposedly Tudor is ready for 2020 to be their biggest year due to having their own exhibition room in Baselworld.
That probably means slabbier and wider variations of the Black Bay! Get ready for the chunkers |

Some new sub adjustments would help deal with the price increases.
