Please keep this one clean and courteous.
There have already been points issued on this one due to the amount of complaints.

To quote Tools, "Chill, it's just a watch forum." It's really not that important in the grand scheme of things. If you find some of the material objectionable here, there are numerous other threads in which you can participate and feel comfortable. People come to this thread (as they do with all threads) of their own free choice. A number of members have posted and it seems only a few are offended by some of the material. It's hardly fair to penalize the majority since they have rights too. I do ask that potential posters put some thought into the material that they choose, since there is a lot of disparity as to what constitutes an appropriate post. Can we please move on? Thank you.

I like you! I just don't understand - when earlier in the thread there were numerous 'moneyshot' references, no one got upset, but now - I see some inconsistencies... But whatever, moving on.

Just to be clear.
The rules specify that no inappropriate content is to be posted here. A link to an external source accompanied by a warning is the convention. Repeated posts of this kind were seen by more than one member as provocation and I kind of agree. I'm never going to be popular by interpreting the rules as I do but "what the hey". I also do not have the time to read each and every post in every thread but I do react to PM's and reported posts. In this instance there were repeated complaints about a member.

I am in a bad mood today. I have an understanding with Jim, Jim, JJ, Carolina, Lisa, Martin, and a few others and yes I make comments directed at them. If you notice I do not direct them at others as I do not want to offend members, either directly or indirectly. Now, if you feel any of my comments, in general, cross the line; please let me know. Are my jokes in poor taste? Should an old man like me even be making them? Hell, who even thinks they are funny? What I do know is that you must be careful when poking fun at others when you have not built up a relationship with firm, clear and understood boundries. Hope that explains the moneyshot comment in the context you quoted above. |

I believe your first response to me ever was something along the lines of 'you long haired hippie'... However, I have no problems with that at all, I can take it and dish it out all the same. I understand the sensitivity issue, and will post accordingly. However, don't spare me, even if we never shared a cold one before! I like your posts, always look forward to you flaming someone even if it is me. You have a friend in Ohio!

May I also add...I think you're the funniest guy here and one of the most intelligent. And I don't need a moneyshot to have to want to say it! There is a vast difference between goofing between pals and the kind of underhanded insults (with added smilies) or general winding up of fellow members to antagonise. Sometimes if the only person laughing is you, then it's not really that funny is it? Lately things have been getting much more tense on here and rules seem to be flaunted widely. I know my posts aren't all sweetness and light and sometimes skirt on what is not acceptable but the honest truth is that I have had a complaint from the mod team on any of my goofing off...ain't I just perfect?????? That's flouted, not flaunted - two points for you!

Hey, with what's happened today, it's just an idea that hasn't made half-bad sense.
