Congratulations

I too recently added a Tudor to my collection - a Heritage Chrono which I’m so impressed with I’m now looking at other Tudors - specifically a Harrods Black Bay.

Enjoy your new baby & keep us updated with how you get on with it.

Congrats! As much as I love my BBGMT, the Pelagos will be the Tudor that I’ll always have in the collection. It seems like Tudor poured their heart into it to make the best watch they possibly could without compromise. I don’t have a single complaint about my LHD. It could truly be the only watch I’d ever need.

Hated the blue when I first saw it but the more pictures I see the more Ive come to appreciate it, So much so I'd take one over the black and it's likely my next piece.

Congratulations! It’s a fantastic piece.

I was so close to pulling the trigger 4 years ago when it first came out.
Loved everything but, personally, did not like the light feel of the titanium.
Obviously, this is a plus for some.

Hope u knew the pip is not a pearl before u bought it, unlike another forum member. I kid.

Enjoy!

I love mine. It’s such a rewarding piece to wear. I’m a little over two years in and blue still brings a smile to my face. I prefer wearing it on the rubber strap.

Congrats, enjoy. We need more pictures!

Hey, I wanted to give a shout out to the original black dial & LHD Pelagos. My wife & I attended Baselworld 2013, a year after the Pelagos was released. It was a treat see it in the stores in Switzerland and experience it firsthand.

The LHD, with it's aged lume, red printing on the dial, and crown placement, really make it unique.

Each version has it's own character and as usual for Tudor, there's a perfect specimen for everyone.

Congrats on the PelAgos Dan. Looks like you have finally replaced that Tudor 9411 Blue Sub that you let go some time ago for a modern version....well done!
I love that clasp on the PelAgos bracelet....man, I wish they put that on all the Black Bay models...would be much easier to find a more precise fit. I wear my BLack Bay Black 79220N on NATO exclusively because of this.
Cheers

Well it's been a week w/ the new Pelagos and I wanted to pass along a few more observations.

It goes surprisingly well with dress attire. Spent the entire week in meetings at the home office and while I consider the Pelagos the ultimate sports watch, it works just fine when dressing up a bit.

Due to the titanium, there were times I forgot I was wearing a watch. Another benefit of the reduced weight is the watch stays planted on the wrist. No flopping around.

And just like my BB GMT, the Tudor in-house movement is amazingly accurate. It was set last Friday and today is running spot on. I must admit I questioned Tudor going in-house with movement manufacturing but they've really stepped it up and with very little increase in price.

I also came home to find the warranty card from the AD w/ an insurance appraisal in the mail. Could not be happier with this purchase. Another amazing value by Tudor.
