I keep my expensive watches a the bank and the rest here at home, still I was wearing my 15270 on the day of the shutdown and that's been the one I've worn everyday since.

The bank will allow me acess to my safe deposit box by appointment only, so I just decided to make my 15270 my official quarantine watch.

After it's all over, should I survive, the Explorer II on leather will carry a meaning that no other watch in my collection will have.

True. It does not jive with the present outfits.

We got back from our vacation abroad (early) on March 23, and I hadn’t put on a watch other than my Apple Watch until this past Friday. I saw no point, and also didn’t feel right about flashing it with so many out of work.

This is actually an interesting thread. I took off my watch about 2 weeks ago and unplugged my watch turner. They are in hibernation for now.

Wear 16610 everyday, part of an essential service and the functionality, accuracy and reliability it provides is important. Anyone can get by with any watch nowadays but I like the proven reliability of my sub, I can count on it.

This!I've been wearing my old Sub around my apartment every day during lockdown here in Germany. Still gives me great pleasure (vibes?) even after more than 24 years of daily wear...!

I stopped wearing my watch and a bracelet I had on my other wrist; but mainly because I have been washing my hands and forearms constantly... I would not know another reason why not to wear a watch..

I wear a watch 24/7. Being stuck at home has actually helped with the rotation. I've worn 10-15 watches that were stuck in the safe for ages.

After reading this tread, I decided to wear my 36mm DateJust, and rotate it with my 39mm White dial OP, and my SS Submariner Date. For the time being.

I'm exactly the same OP - Fitbit on and watches in the drawer. I need the motivation to reach 10k steps every day, though I have put my Rolex on a couple of days just to enjoy the view from arms-length

It is interesting that there are so many questions not understanding why someone would not wear a watch at home. I wear a watch when I'm out because I don't always have time around me. Like walking around or in meetings. But at home, I have a clock on my computers, there is time in the kitchen and in the bedroom. And I know where to look. So there is simply no need to wear a watch to tell time. If I want to enjoy looking at it, I get that or I do sometimes as a way to wind the watch without having to unscrew the crown.

I’ve been Apple watching or going without.

Actually forget what watches I even own.

Try not showering for a few weeks living on Doritos and beer and you’ll know why.

LoL, sure... I wear my SubC everyday. Its the first thing that usually goes on after a shower. If I'm around the house its running shorts and a T-Shirt or Hoody. If I'm going out its something casual. Its a watch I like, no need to dress special to enjoy the time.

I just realized another reason I wear my watches while working from home... they keep me from forgetting my workout. There is no way I am going to resize a bunch of bracelets.

Generally I don't wear any watch when at home, but I still wear them when I go out for a walk, or to the grocery shop, or when I walk the dogs.

Nothing changed here - I enjoy wearing a watch, unsurprisingly. Widespread illness doesn't change that, although I soon take off a watch and forget about it when I'm unwell.

I've worn my Samsung Gear all the time since lockdown. For fun if it's a nice day when I go out for a walk I'll put on one of the watches in rotation and take a wrist shot of it while out! The Hulk looks so good in bright sunshine!

I ALWAYS wear a watch. I've been working from home for a long time so this quarantine doesn't change much of anything for me.
