that would be bezel protective sticker? first time i have seen it - my GV didnt have it from memory

I wondered about protectors, mine already had them removed when I got it. All my others had the protective "ring" for the bezel and not "peel offs."

Yes, on closer examination that's certainly how Rolex puts protection on a flat bezel.
