I do most nights, tritium is easier to read in the dark I find in the wee hours after the watches with superluminova fade.

Yep most nights to check the time when I awake. Used to sleep straight thru. Sadly no more.

Maybe it’s because I’m possibly younger than you all or my bedroom is darker but, the luminova on my 16613 is completely readable at all hours of the night when I wake to check the time. It’s not crazy bright like when you come into the garage from the sunshine or anything but it’s certainly more than enough to read at night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Never. I take my wedding ring and watch off at night. I find it uncomfortable for sleeping.

Always. Mine never comes off my wrist. Now, that might be a different story if it were a different model that was heavier, or gold, but as it stands my GMT is so comfy and light that I honestly forget I’m wearing it. It’s just apart of me now.

Newer Rolex owners seem to be the majority of 'nighttime' wearers.
Sure, I've done it to get that '007 on a case' feel, but really, when I'm sleeping who cares what time it is? (And, let's face it: I'm NO 007!) To each his own but I grew out of it pretty quickly. Sent from my SM-A520W using Tapatalk |

No, slightly uncomfortable, but I feel naked without it first thing when I'm having coffee. So it goes on the first 10 minutes I'm up.

You’re funny, my friend Ivan who was a Russian Submariner strangely enough, talks exactly like that. I’ve tried to get him to buy a Submariner but he says he was “Sub Mariner” not Submariner

I don’t wear mine but sometimes if I can’t sleep I listen to the movement in my sub which is loud. I place it by my ear it lulls me to sleep.. like an old wind up alarm clock. I’ve fallen asleep only to awaken with the hulk sub on the bed. The danger is it ever falls off the bed and breaks.. I’m not kidding when I say the movement lulls me to sleep. I just place by the ear in darkness on pillow and it’s soothing in some weird meditative way. I might just record the thing one day and play it through an iPad no joke.

Wear watch when sleeping?
This makes no sense to me. I never wear a watch to sleep with. Yeah it could get scratched on a 45 or banged on furniture. My wife wears her smart sports watch (Garmin) to bed so that she monitors the quality of her sleep. I could give a sh#t. Give your watch a rest. That is why it has a power reserve of 40 or more hours.

I’ll will sometimes go months without taking it off, with the exception of changing the date.

Yep. I'm super nearsighted and obviously don't sleep with glasses on. So, it's easier to just bring a watch on my wrist right up to my face to check the time than to fumble around for my phone on the end table. I do take it off to shower though.

Yes, I like checking the time when I wake up. I wear a watch all the time except for showering!

24/7 for me ever since I got one when I was 12. Work, play, shower, swim, anything, you see my watch and there I'll be, attached to it.
