I prefer no date, looks cleaner to me. All I’ve mostly worn for the last 6 years is my 14060M. Simple and clean.

I like the cyclops date window feature as it's a distinctive Rolex feature. However, there are some references where having no date such as the Milgauss, Explorer, Daytona and some of the OP's where it seems like the right thing to keep the dial clean. All the same, a date is a handy feature imho. Cheers!

I prefer the no date as I don't really need the date and it's a cleaner date. But if I had to choose which one id buy I'd get a date!

I want my watches to have a date function . I was not a big fun of the cyclops , I recently purchased a D-Blue and boy my aging eyes are appreciating the cyclops . I use the date feature so it is important to me .

I like the date and cyclops, working shift work it is really handy just helps with keeping you on track and also I sign and date lot of papers at work.

Just wouldn't be without a date on a watch.

I liked the look and went with 116610LN just ticked all my boxes.

Unless its a formal dress watch.

Date is useful. All my watches have date except one (Black bay 36 black dial). When I wear it, and need to check date, I always think... oh sh.t, I forgot this one has no date!

The good thing with with this watch (beside its cleaner look), it's so easy to set: no date wheel to spin, and no difference between AM and PM.

I would like to see a similar poll on the "day of the week" complication, because I find its usefulness more arguable.

I went through the entire day as a test. Every time I went to look for the time I checked my phone. I know I use my phone when I check the date because I don’t trust if I set my watch correctly. So I just get the watches I think look best, no date, date, chrono, etc. So that is why I like my submariner the best, just looks better.

I prefer no date on any diver although many come with one and you have no choice. If I have a choice then NO.

I prefer date and have had it on any watch I've worn for 30-plus years. When I ordered my first Rolex a couple months ago, I chose a Datejust.

The same you feel about looking at a watch with no Date is the same way some people feel about watches with a Date, and I am one of those that prefer watches without a Date.

For me it really comes down to the watch. For a GMT/World Time I think a date is critical as you might be tracking different dates across time zones. For everything else I prefer no date on mechanical watches. There is less to break; Tudor GMT looking at you, and they are easier to set if you haven't worn them in a quiet. Currently only my quartz watches have date functions.

I can tolerate a date, but personally prefer No Date. The cleanest the dial the better it is for me. Sub ND is just BEAUTIFUL!
