Brilliant watch, perfect for any occasion, you can dress it up or down. I wore mine yesterday with a shirt, then came home, changed into a t-shirt and headed out again.

I'm not sure on the comments about being very easily scratched, especially with microfibre cloth. Mine is a few years old now and I just wipe it over with a sleeve or t-shirt like I'm cleaning a pair of glasses, no obvious scratches unless you get a loupe or look very closely and those weren't caused by a cloth.

And even though i don't really care, the crown alignment seems to be exactly - upside down

No OCD.

Coming up on my 1st anniversary with the Sub, I thought of sharing how it has held up - especially the PCL and Gold parts. (Under harsh light conditions - which exaggerate a bit, obviously)

I have been using it almost everyday, swimming, traveling, working - no pampering. Still loving it and "adding character" every day!

I wore the 116613LB for two years and now I have a Sea Dweller 126603 TT. They are daily watches and must be lived without anguish.... anxiety....
Wonderful watch Congrats

Wonderful watch Congrats
I’m with Gerry62, the 116613LN was going to be my next watch because it’s a stunner, then the 126603 was released and due to my preference for big watches I decided on that.

I think the 116613 suits your wrist size perfectly

Wow, that's a well worn watch! Beautiful reference. I have the blue TT Sub but also love yours.

Congrats! Although I've had a few Rolex in the past, I just picked up my now-only Rolex--the 126613LB!

I have very similar proportions to you: 6 foot, 155lbs, 16cm wrist. I think the watch looks great on our small wrists.

Wow. Not bad at all. Thanks for posting this. I have always been curious how the gold PCLs would hold. They seem to hold up quite nicely. Enjoy your beautiful watch. 👍🏼

Congrats on your first year. I love this reference. And love all the character you've put into it even more.

It only looks huge after wearing my DJ36 for a while

Yes, i think it is just big enough - without the lugs extruding to much off the wrist.

Indeed, as said, very exaggerated in these close ups and harsh light.
Not noticeable to anyone but yourself

Thank you. I try to keep the “character” limited to light scratches - but i guess i will ding it properly at some point

Love this - especially that you did the 1 year update - I just got the 126613LN 2 weeks ago - fill the exact same way as you about it - wearing it everywhere - doing - everything - trying not to worry about the “character” I’m building on it - I love my “things” love to enjoy the heck out of them - cheers

The highly anticipated "almost 2 years now" - daily wear update, with maybe a week or two wearing the Datejust in-between

Again, with highly lit photos of the accumulated scratches.

During the last year the watch has been in the Mediterranean and countless lakes swimming with me, up in the Julian Alps, was banged at the Colosseum pretty good by accident
and of course desk diving every day...

Our journey continues!

Reminded me of high school.

Good looking watch OP. Glad you're enjoying it like it's meant to be enjoyed.

This watch in particular doesn’t look nearly as good in photos as they do in real life. Much more of a pop and wrist presence than the photos show.

Now that's how you do it.. Been going back to this thread to look at your pictures. I won't have to as much as I recently picked up one too.

Thanks for the updates.
