Definitely the black GMT II. Perfect option for someone deciding between Sub and GMT assuming you’re not actually a diver

The Datejust Turn-o-Graph model 116264 is highly underrated in my opinion. In fact it’s basically never talked about on the Forum. Out of production but pretty available on the secondary market at very decent prices, I think this piece is extremely versatile. Classic 36mm Datejust case size with that elegant Datejust curved case shape, super jubilee band with the hidden clasp which is a cool look (or Oyster if you prefer, available both ways), sporty red highlights with the red seconds hand and red datewheel and a very unique bezel with all the bling of the classic fluted bezel Datejusts, but one that also rotated for timing purposes. There is really nothing else like it out there.
It also carries the ultra-dependable and bulletproof Rolex caliber 3135 movement. There are versions in white dial, blue, gray and possibly black. Not sure of all the options. But with all these features and functionality I really feel that it’s a highly underrated piece that really a lot of people don’t even know about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Honestly, the Datejust 36 is shooting up this list. The 41 seems to be super hot, but the 36 is OG.

I have noticed a sharp disappearance of turn-o-graphs available over the past 12months, especially the 116264 and 116263!

For me it's the datejust. I respect the submariner for its timeless silhouette but I can't help but roll my eyes and think "of course" whenever i see young "bros" with them on. I've seen 3 in my high rise alone. The datejust on the other hand is full blown beautiful jewelry as far as i'm concerned. Tshirt? Tux? doesn't matter, it always looks great but guys new to the brand seem utterly beside themselves to get a submariner, and frankly i'll be content if i never see another one again. |

I’ll echo some previous posts here and say the DJ line in general. Particularly the TT variants.
Such accomplished and capable watches, more so than a lot of the sports or professional models. |

A year ago I would have said the OP but now that they've become as hard to buy as submariners I guess I'll go with Milgauss.
I don't mind though. I love my Milgauss. I enjoy it when I like things other people don't. Kind of a hipster attitude I guess. |

I think that the Turn-O-Graph is the best shout so far, although that moniker is nearly as bad as La-Z-Boy. |

You likened it to the Beatles, suggesting greatness - yet as we know the profile of the Bluesy is nothing like a Daytona, GMT or even a stainless Submariner for that matter. This is a fun thread to think about. If I got that wrong please forgive me, English is my second language and some sayings/phrases still catch me out sometimes.... |

The Explorer II is still the least "Rolex-y" and less "on the radar" for many.
A plus IMHO since you can own it and a Sub (or other sports Rolex) and still have two rather different watches. |
