That Breitling was made for kids learning to read time on a watch or what?

It’s the exact opposite of the pure and perfect dial of a Sub ( or a YM in this case, minus the cyclops).

The only way it could be worst would be with the date window at the 4:30 position. Speaking of date window, I like how it seems to partially hide the 15 hours marker.

To answer your question, OP: yes

Even though I don’t like the YM, it clearly wins over the Breit.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder --> You most definitely are not crazy
You just like one watch more than another and nowhere is it written that one must like Rolex more . . .

Lol Very true. I find it so over the top that it loops back around to being interesting to me.

At the end of the day, they are all just watches. Buy what you like.

Am I crazy for liking my Breitling better than my Yachtmaster?

I generally like Breitling watches more than most folks on this forum. Also, I don’t like the YM 40 as much as most folks on this forum either.

However, these 2 watches aren’t in the same league. Not even close…YM is a thousand times nicer…

Breitling are awesome watches, I personally love them.

However, I also love yacht-masters as one of my favorite Rolex models(in particular the yacht master rose gold 40mm)

In my opinion you should keep the yacht master any time though, because it’s a classic.

But if you like the Breitling you can never go wrong man.

Both are nice, but the Breitling's dial is too cluttered.

I think it's a matter of personal preference, so it is very normal to like your Breitling more than your Rolex.

As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. For me, there’s really no comparison. YM is the cleaner, classier and Better looking watch by a long stretch.

It is very comfortable to wear and not too thick....Blue dial is super sharp....

I prefer the Rolex and you prefer the Breitling. There is nothing wrong with that.

As of late, I prefer wearing my Doxa Sub 300 to any of my Rolex watches. Is it cheaper, definitely. Do I care...nope. Just like what you like. You don't need anyone's permission to prefer a Breitling to a Rolex!
This and that.

There are six words on the Breitling dial and 12 words on the Rolex dial.

OP
What do you expect to hear on the Rolex forum? Probably different results if you posted on the Breitling forum.

Perhaps there is a realization that you cannot attain Rolex pieces you want from AD’s anymore and Breitling is available.

Personally, I have given up on getting a SS Professional piece from an AD, I went with a black Cartier Santos and a Breitling Endurance Pro, and loving both pieces. Wear the Breitling to knock around in and the Cartier when we go out to dinner.

Buy what you like.
