Is your current favorite Rolex the one you've always wanted?

Not really. The SD is what got me hooked. My current favorite is also one of the cheapest. Still I find myself strapping the new 124060 to my wrist more than anything else I own.

Yes because it’s my only one. And then one I’ve always wanted. The ND Submariner.. Absolutely timeless to watch I can hand down to my son. Took me forever by this watch. I’m 60 years old and I finally got a watch of my dreams. So to me it will always have a special memories. At the point in my life I can definitely buy a few more beautiful watches….and will… But they will not mean the same as this watch

Growing up in the 90s I thought the four digit Datejust was perfect. By the time I could afford a Datejust, the five digits were out. The dimensions weren’t as nice in my opinion, but I newness is important to me.

Same story with Subs. I loved the five digit Subs, but when it came time to buy one the six digits were out. Again, I went with the newest model available.
