Bad news is that there is a 3-5 year waiting list for this stuff.
I've heard that Rolex is switching to split-stitch fill to save thread count on their wider embroidery needs. Tatami is just too tacky and common for them, again these are just rumors

I think the Toronto guy, after spending his 3 grand, will get every watch he wanted on his list including a white dial Daytona.

Everyone knows Rolex will release their aluminum bezel sub and ss bezel daytona again. At 57mm and ETA movement.

Along that line, how about NFT Rolex watches, that everyone can buy online. (Non fungible token.)
It will be just like having one, (but not), at the same price.

More DateJust colours. DJ36 with light faces and diamond markers.

Daytona is probably getting near an update, though maybe not this year

Actually, there's a great idea in there: Rerelease watches with the exact specs of all of the classic five-digits we know and love... but as Tudors.

I could see this being what makes the line "hot" somewhat like those occasional Patek stainless Calatravas (that commanded massive premiums long before the 5711 was cool.

Seems like the sport models have all had their upgrades for the time being. Maybe some new dials, maybe some movement improvements, but nothing groundbreaking. Tbh it won’t matter bc you can’t get anything regardless.

I was told by my AD who has a personal friend that works for Rolex in upper management that in 2022 they are planning to discontinue the James Cameron version of the Deepsea. The black one will still be available, and all the features will remain the same from the 2018 upgrade. He also mentioned that it does not look like the empty case situation will ending anytime soon. He was told that he can expect it to be this way for the next 2 1/2 years. He will be able to get inventory, however, will not have fully stocked cases. This is a dealer who has been selling Rolex’s since the 60’s. It is kind of sad.

Someone should compile and publish all the things heard by staff at the ADs...Conversely, my SA at the AD where I used to work tells me about the things Rolex collectors say to her constantly dozens of times a day every day to try to get the latest sports watches!! I don't know how they manage it...

Just take it with a pinch of salt... Did any of the so called Rolex insider information mentioned that the new Explorer 2 are basically almost the same as what it look as it was before? No one expect the oyster perpetual become the next hotties after a change of color dials? Rolex simply gives you all kind of surprises.

And suddenly the watch I bought at 12 years old in an alley of New York City is worth millions...the original Olex.
