Nice! I had to do a double take on your info. I picked this exact watch out for my brother to buy my nephew for his 40th birthday. The AD got it for him in the summer but he just got it the day before you posted. His name is Charles B also and thought he may have joined TRF. but we are in PA and you have a lot more posts. LOL!

Thanks for taking the time to respond on this.

Most underrated piece the crown makes. Absolutely stunning OP. I think if this watch were priced similarly to a sub, it would be much more popular. I saw this same Rhodium piece in the window in Panama City, Panama about 4 years back. I was mesmerized.

I wish I would have bought it. I thought about it, but wasn’t sure how I was going to get it back to my hotel since I was walking through some compromised areas without a vehicle. My mind goes worse case scenario in those situations. Perhaps someone’s casing out the place waiting for an obvious tourist to walk out with a bag.

Anyway, if I ever get a GMT call, this YM will be next on my list. Gorgeous pics in this thread.

Good morning everyone...I just wanted to write a quick follow up to my last post where I was debating on trading the 116613LB for the 126622 YM.

My new Yachtmaster Slate/Rhodium arrived this morning and my jaw is on the floor. I have owned nearly every other Rolex reference at one time or another but for some reason never connected with pictures of the YM so other watches always jumped ahead of it in line. In person, this watch is absolutely STUNNING! There is no other word to describe it.

I debated briefly between the dark blue and the slate and (having never seen the slate/rhodium dial in person) I just trusted my gut and jumped in with both feet. I reached out to my favorite grey dealer and 16 hours later...here she is!

I am getting ready to size the bracelet but was too excited to share some initial impressions not to post first :)

The case is curvy and gorgeous. The bezel is less prominent than it is in pictures. The slate dial explodes outside in the direct sunlight. The light blue accents are perfect and attract just the right amount of visual attention. The overall height on the wrist is perfect and it definitely wears smaller than my 116610LV Hulk.

So far, it is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I will follow up with more pics shortly...thanks to everyone who gave me feedback on my other thread!
Congrats! I have the 126621 two tone with chocolate dial and I love it. The feel on wrist, the looks...to me its what a luxury sports watch should look at feel like, a Submariner turned up to an 11
