Yes exactly :) just catching up on the thread. I’d be happy with a Sport Auto, but it won’t be coming anytime soon.

I lucked out with an AP 16202ST last year and then ended up turning down the Sport Auto as I didn't want another integrated bracelet sport watch. Seeing and trying on the traveller meteorite though I just couldn't stop myself from pulling out my wallet

Haha, that’s a tough choice between the 16202 and the LF… market price aside, thoughts on the two pieces?

Most LF's are an epitome of simplicity and elegance (in my eyes) both dial side as well as the movement side with clearly superior finishing evident both with and without a loupe. From what Mr. Ferrier has said, it is at par with the best of what Patek has to offer (and I'd venture to guess traditional AP top-end too). The first things that one immediately notices when comparing the AP to the LF(s): 1. Weight - titanium does make a very noticeable difference (and even more so on the LF meteorite which weighs less than 55 grams). I find wearing the LF extremely comfortable 2. Feel - on the AP one does immediately feel the sharper edges of the case and bracelet when sliding a finger over them while the LF felt silky smooth to the touch. On the wrist though, the AP feels very smooth too 3. The movement architecture and overall "pop" - the AP movement has a very interesting sliding rack mechanism to adjust the balance spring stud holder's position and two gold bridges but overall feels a bit industrial whereas there's just something in the way the LF movements are harmoniously laid out and finished that lend to that extra overall "pop" before drawing you in for a closer inspection |

The Salmon Tourbillon might be the best watch ever made… the dial for sure is. The dial is unlike anything I’ve ever seen and fits so perfectly with the Sport. Pictures do not do it justice. I’m begging then to make a salmon dial for the Sport Auto (and sell it to me).

Handled a sport auto and tourbillon at the show this week. Hands down the best bracelet I've ever felt. Never felt such fine articulation -but at same time feeling strong and substantial. Wish they offered customization on that model, I'd be all over it
