No worries, buddy......we are talking about a sport called CRICKET.....played mainly in the Commonwealth countries.

It's an age old British game, also known as a Gentleman's game. It's fun to watch once you understand the rules.

England 307 -8 at close of day one. Good score or below par? It's a turning wicket so it will interesting to see what Australia do when they bat tomorrow. Good days play

Thanks for the update, Martin.....shall catch the highlights this evening. On a turning wicket, England would hold the upper edge having batted first.

The wicket will be quite hellish to play on on the last 2 days.....if the English spinners can get going.

Hmmmmm our wickets fell like dominos yesterday afternoon.

Inquiries need to be made as to what the boys are having for lunch and tea....

Why can't English batsmen remain at the wicket after a break???????????

I thought 350 would be a good score if the wicket does turn but really the only chance we have of winning the ashes is if the middle order played a "Boycott" and batted defensively....a score of 470-550 and getting Australia out for cheap could have enforced the follow on. Remember for England to win the Ashes we have to get 20 men out!!!!!

It's not lost (or drawn) yet but we really need to bowl well today.

as soon as i got the the tennis club, the first wicket fell, and everyone knew i'm an aussie

thought the Poms had a good morning session and the afternoon session was quite enjoyable for me

looking forward to Day 2. a low-300 run score will be good for the aussies. hope the weather stays dry today at The Brit Oval.

would much prefer a test win not a draw

well, well Australia collapse from 73 not out to 160 all out, on a pitch that is turning. England to start second innings 170 runs ahead.
