It looks factory with the way the bezel has retained the Matt radial brushing, really like it.

Are you reading this Rolex? Take note please.

I wear a black DLC coated Citizen eco-drive Field watch as my basher. After 8 years of abuse it hasn’t picked up a single scratch or mark to the DLC coating and still has a Matt lustre to its finish despite being relentless rubbed under my motorcycle gloves when I’m riding.

Modern DLC coating are as hard as nails.

There was more than a few who were expecting g something like this for the 50th anniversary. Looks very cool.

PS - only Rolex would get away with charging you for a replacement part and then extra on top to keep the knackered part.

I will revive this as I am about to do the same mod. How is it holding with scratches? Are you still happy with the result? I have sent a few emails about guarantee and pricing and I am very torn about it. I leave in Europe so things are a bit different here.

I think it looks great…..I don’t like mod’s to watches but this looks like something Rolex themselves would pull and people would go crazy

Nice work

I have to admit that you nailed the aesthetics with the white on black and the overall outcome. Needless to say I wouldn’t mod my Rolex watches. Even temporarily switching out to a nato makes me cringe now.

looks pretty cool, but not for me personally

Hope you enjoy, but this will be a real negative if you want to sell

It’s just a bezel no big deal

Nice mod! I have the 16570 in black and white and I love them.
