But if your rich the why buy a steel as it means your really actually poor because TT is more expensive retail

I wear a 115600…my wife a zenith two tone with diamond markers…looks gorgeous on her…I don’t like two tone on me…perhaps it’s a matter of preference…I don’t like gold…she does…I think it’s a good thing personally…I love the look just not on me and she agrees!

I really wish Rolex made some overdue upgrades with the TT.

- Add a Rose Gold option
- Add a Ceramic bezel.

Keep hoping they would do it but seems they overlook it every year. The champagne dial config from 2 years ago was a nice touch though.

Do you have to wait less for them?
Aesthetically not so appealing?

TIA and cheers.

Actually I like the two-tone with racing blue dial. A lot.

The 2 tones are just kind of weak in the looks dept. I do like the champagne dial in tt. It might look a little better with a ceramic dial.

Life is short, buy the watch.

Lower prices are because of less demand. TT is more expensive new than steel. I'm a fan of TT as many are and we enjoy the lesser demand for them. If someone were offered TT and steel for the same price they'd be wise to choose the TT if value were a consideration. They are "better" "more expensive" watches. But if you're willing to pay a premium for steel that's totally up to you too.

It pays not to follow trends!

It seems like the two-tone watches are pricier at authorized dealers due to the precious metal content. However, in the second hand market, they might not hold their values as well and could even sell for retail price or lower.

Getting them from an authorized dealer is pretty quick due to the basic, unlike the situation with a steel Daytona.

In my opinion, nothing screams "douchebag!" more than a full gold sports watch.

If you’re gonna be a dbag anyway, might as well have some swagger while you’re at it

I mean, two-tone "anything" has been largely under-appreciated for over a decade now. Trends come and go. It seems two-tone pieces are once again on the rise. I've always liked the look, personally. They'll get popular and then the sentiment will again shift. Just part of the ebb and flow of things, really.

Well.... Due to this thread and these pictures above I just traded in my 116500 Black dail ceramic "boring" (Godzilla) and now have a 116503 with a blue arabic racing dial incoming. Should get it the end of the week.... I really need to stay off this forum, not good for the bank account...

Wow, that blue dial Rolesor is really nice. What a warm complementary pallet of colours.

I tried the black TT Daytona on yesterday. I could get it relatively soon, but without the ceramic bezel it seems even smaller that the SS to me. Nice watch, very flashy.
