My go to is a 36mm white dial, on oyster. Purchased it in 1998, and it gets the most wrist time out of my collection.

So many times I had tried on smaller watches but they looked like the watches I had grown out of eons ago. I even had a beautiful IWC which was adorable for a while but alas it didn't do it for me on my large wrist at 36mm

But there are no more rules about this any longer.

Wear what makes you feel good at your special events. You are already fpdressed appropriately.

Almost no one notices watches anyway.
