I never say who I am, it tends to make no difference and it's really irrelevant as I just want to be treated like anyone else.

Update - Rolex HQ now estimates 3 weeks for availability of 2 stainless steel Jubilee links to be available and fitted to my bracelet.

Happy to hear they are getting it sorted for you, Steve. Even if they took the long way 'round the barn.

Dealing with Rolex is the equivalent of a prostrate exam. Yeah, you have to do it but even if it’s routine, you still feel somewhat violated.

Sorry to hear that Steve but I think the Why is because sadly they can. I personally would climb the tree a little higher but probably would do no good. Good luck my friend.

Hopefully they put one link per side otherwise it’s out of balance.
And check for burring on the screws, I had my Daytona sized in Switzerland by a very young sales assistant, and it was totally out of balance.

No matter what the store does now (apart from giving you the links for free :) the damage to their reputation has been done. It is out there for all to see for years and for hopefully other dealers to learn from. Disgraceful conduct that needs to be vigorously condemned.

I’ve had 2 watches sized at the AD, by 2 different SAs. In both instances, they removed 2 links, from the same side of the bracelet. I had to redo both, when I got them home. What’s up with that? Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Jeez Steve, you really must have made that front receptionist shake in her shoes. The security/bully team must have relayed your intimidating and scary demeanor to the upper management that they just wanted to get rid of you and found the links off another watch in for service lol.
