Someone off line ask how many type of aircraft my Rolex GMT Master Concorde and I have been a Flight Mechanic on. So here is the list
Started 1969 when I got the GMT at 34 years old I was a Flight Mechanic on Bell helicopters B-204/205 then Chinook CH-47C. Then on to DC-8s,B-727,B-737,747 and B-757.I Ended being a Flight Mechanic in 2007 when I was 73 years old. From then on till May 2024 I was a ground mechanic on B-727,B-737 and C-130s ending at 89 years old and into the rocking chair in the junk yard.

Native Americans Artists

I know this web site is about Rolex watches. But I feel I need to talk about my Native American made gold and Turquoise watch tabs.
There are few worldly adornments that bring as much culture and history to society as Native American Indian of the Southwestern United States jewelry.
Turquoise conveys a special meaning as it has for centuries, healing.spirit and good fortune.
The Southwestern Navajo,Zuni and Hopi tribes are known for jewelry pieces created from sterling silver,14K gold and stones.
Native American artists work from home on the reservation and some work in jewelry shops in town to create beautiful custom pieces of jewelry that are truly art.
Here is photo of some of my Native American Bolo Ties.
To learn more about Native Americans and the Southwest Google online.

Now that I think about it, the watch probably did not come in a pyramid box. As it is full gold, the PM versions probably came in a nicer, larger box than the stainless or stainless and gold versions. Don't take my word for it though. Not an expert. There's one listed on H.Q. Milton here, perhaps it rings a bell for you: https://hqmilton.com/products/rolex-...concorde-hands

My soap box for today

I have never been in the world of watches till I found this website and it has been a new adventure for me and I have learned a lot about my watch here.
My thoughts for today are why Rolex dealers look at my watch and down grade it value because of the case wear and pin hole wear. To me this gives my GMT Master Concorde watch real character and shows it was out doing the job Rolex made it for aviators to do their jobs flying around the world. I have had my adventures along with my watch and doing what Rolex wants you to think of in their advertising have adventures.
I think to many Rolex GMT Master are all flap and no throttle sit in dark hangers and never get out and do the job Rolex made them for.
People ask me why I wear such a rare legendary luxury ostentatious watch ever day and I say if you have it why not enjoy it. I know it looks like a Rolls-Royce with bull horns on the front but I like it that way.
We are both getting old I am 89 and the watch is 55 years old and we both show our age after are travels and adventures down life's lost highway a road less traveled that had a few puddles in it.The best part I had fun traveling it.

Wear and tear may make the watch more appealing to you because they represent your history and memories. But to a buyer, condition issues will always affect value.

Another interesting full set from 1969 with a Concorde watch. Although who knows if it wasn't just cobbled together as dealers often used what they had available or what the customer wanted. https://jewelry.ha.com/itm/timepiece...mbnail-071515#
You can see details if you "View Full Size" when you click on an image. That said, your watch probably came in the same wood box for a Daytona, like you have above. that other box I posted seems to be for a president Datejust. At least I think… Anyways, good luck!

Now that green box fits my memory better. I have the same exact paper work guarantee book, instruction book and chronometer rating paper work. I don't have the calendar or tag any more and never had the wallet. Wish I could see top of box is it flat or pyramid my memory of box it was flat I could be wrong.
Now find a box for sale maybe with tag and calendar
You do good detective work finding all this good info.

I'm a sucker for finding hard to find things. This from my last search. Unfortunately already sold but looks exactly like the box from the other site and you can see the reference number on the bottom of the box 62.00.01. This: https://www.chrono-shop.net/en/a-r-c...-nice-set.html
And here on EBAY with what looks like an anniversary sticker on the top: https://www.ebay.com/itm/315506795398
And one without https://www.ebay.com/itm/314899744904

box

I saw on in one of the site 68.00.55 looks best to my memory .
I don't remember any white and don't remember it having an outbox but it may have had one
The ones in Japan only take Pay-Pal and E bay dose not take AX any more so it make it hard to pay some places. I only use American Express because I have been taken on line.
Thanks keep looking

Box we want?

Is this the box for my GMT Master Concorde that I am looking for?
The paper work in photo is the same as mine. I never had wallet and don't have the calendar. Box in photo has a Ref 16758 GMT Master watch in it.
