The bracelet on mine squeaked off and on for nearly 4 years with it being worn every day since new. The only time it was quiet was after a soak/wash in dish soap. It's only recently I've noticed its totally quiet now. I've also just picked up a new D-Blue as my wedding gift from my fiancé. |

Looks good on rubber Dave. How do you like it? I've been thinking about picking one up.

Yeah that rubber looks badass, how comfortable is it? Did you get the one that has the original glidelock clasp in it or the one with the regular clasp?

Rubber B has been my go to, I haven't yet tried using my own glide lock, I've had my D-Blue on the vulcanized Rubber B with blue stripe and I love this combo. I've hear good things from Everest as well, but can't speak for them personally. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Same. The Rubber B has been my go to and will probably be my only go to.

Yes it's very supple, and the taper is not anywhere like the glide lock version. I have the tang version, I don't think it even tapers at all. Fits like an AP Diver would, except Rubber B is softer. Doesn't feel fragile or cheap, till feels rugged. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Man, i'm torn, i think it looks awesome but i want to be able to use the glidelock with the rubber and to be honest, the glidelock version does have quite a bit of taper but it reminds me of the B&R straps and i never had any issues with the comfort or looks of those hmmmm

My DSSD arrived yesterday so today is the maiden voyage. I must say, after going through about a dozen watches over the last year (no exaggeration) this is the first one that I am able to check all the boxes in all areas, for me personally. I think this is a keeper. It does not wear as big as I feared, and even though my wrist size is small to average I have a flat back of the wrist for the head to sit on, which in my opinion makes just as much of a difference as the size of the wrist.
And surprisingly it easily fit under my shirt cuff |

Looks good; so Rubber B are the main brand for DSSD straps?

It is the only brand I have found so far that hugs the case filling that gap between the strap and the case. It also overlaps the lugs, sort of flaring out. If Everest had something similar I would try them too, but they don't have an option for the DSSD yet.
