Congratulations England.

What a wonderful way to go out. Devastating? Absolutely. But I wish England the best of luck during the rest of the tournament.

So huge for us. The ghost of penalty shootouts has haunted us for decades. Now it’s been put to bed. We could be dangerous now.

Horrible, niggly, low quality, eye-bleeding game. The yellows thought they were coming to claim the WWE Heavyweight Championship whilst pulling a major heel-turn midway through the first half. The reds couldn’t string any fluency together at all and fell to bits after the yellow goal.

But who cares?! On to the QF. The result is king. Nobody remembers the performance.

This Friday is going to be THE day, with the best games. Uruguay vs France and Brazil vs Belgium. Don't miss it, gents! More nail-biting madness ahead.

That’s more magnanimity than I could manage going out like that. Kudos.

Man of the match goes to Harry Maguire for me. He won every single ball tonight. Not glamorous but a stellar job!

Thank you Dave. I love this game more than I love a win and I'm glad we went out to England. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Fantastic team and they very much deserved to go forward.

Despite the loss, our party did not stop !

Cheers !!!

I’m going to apologise now in advance for my antics on Saturday. It’s going to be extremely messy and if I do post anything it probably won’t be legible 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Knackered!

e.g. The Stag was banjaxed after his weekend away in Prague. He also knackered his Rolex somehow but doesn’t remember doing it. He should’ve worn his G-Shock.

Really glad I got to turn on the TV to see the shootout! Being a very casual soccer (football) fan, would most agree that Brazil, France, England and Croatia are likely to advance? Note I said "likely". I realize that may not be where your loyalties lie.
