Hands down--the new 02.
RM56-02 .. Brunei Sultan's daily beater.. Looks really good on him especially those translucent rubber strap!

Your 002 on rubber is really a sick piece. BTW, I was able to buy a big RM book with lots of pics and schematics. It covers only the earliest releases but it's a joy for the eye nonetheless.

Ok Roger what brands are going to see massive break down in their prices due to huge sell of their products on the second hand market?

Thanks but I have ticked the independent box this year and am done with it. Will be completely "on piste" henceforward!

Monographie 1? Epic epic book, but also try and get Editions Cercle d'Art by Borer - also fantastic.

Please don't sell your Lange dato perpetual, it's an awesome piece

The RM 004 is great but you wouldn't want a 27 or 27-01? Not talking about the 02 which is out of this world but priced heftily, clearly my favorite RM's, especially the -02 and -01

Not really a fan of the 27 and already have a tourbillon anyway so the split second is the way to go I think.

Again tastes and to each his own but in RM I prefer the non complicated models where the effort is made on the beauty and simplicity, if you can use such a word for tourbillon models, of the movement, the 27-01 and 02 for me are pieces of art, I like complicated models more in ALS and Patek for example, for AP same as RM, not a huge fan of most of their complicated models

Insane... the only thing I would change in this model is to add 011 style numbers for full skeletonized feeling....

Speaking of 056, lots of pics of new owners on Instagram lately... anyone seen live pics of 56 anniversary?

And there is the pic (by @youcanneverhaveenough) of the RG for Canadian boutique limited to 10 pieces. Looks good but I prefer Ivory when it comes to RG...

My vote goes to regular RG 011, no ivory, no Canadian...plain old RG. Good luck finding one (except at boutique for full price )

No it's awful Roger can't believe they sold you such a piece, I'll take it from the kindness of my heart to help you get rid of it for 5K, and that's because I like you of course it's an awesome piece, but my heart really gets pumping for the 27-01 and especially 27-02, but again tastes differ and it's good we don't all like the same things, life would be very boring if it was the case

Interesting new release although the speedway circuit all over the dial hides the skeleton effect which is a shame. I think the idea of an extra flat tonneau case is a good one though. Judging by the number of screws I am assuming this is a smaller 45mm or possibly 48mm case so smaller than the 11. Aside from my comment above I think this case design is a good idea.

I agree.

It's almost a hybrid of 016 and 010.

Smart for someone who wants the 'classic' RM look with a thin factor.

Also new in-house movement.

Or the 005 was smaller than the 010 so it could be classed as a thin 005 case.
Is there a button on the other side of the case to switch between the W O H ?

Yes the 5 is 45mm hence my question. I guess there must be a button for the function but then there is no N position so the watch would typically be left in winding mode I presume. It is a manual movement then?
