Hey John -- I see you're in Denver, as am I. Do you know of any local A Lange dealers??

That Zeitwerk is so nice, as is the Dato!
The Dato movement is just incredible and just for this is worth it, plus according to Dufour it's the best chrono made in series, I think he knows what he's talking about

Thanks a bunch, I didn't know that (they weren't listed on the ALS website).
I'll give them a call-

Hey sorry, I just saw this.

Hyde Park in the Cherry Creek mall sells ALS. They just don't have them at their Denver store. If you go in there, ask for Josh. He will get pieces brought in for you from their California store to try.

I saw your pics on photobucket, do you have all these now or did you sell a few? Very cool watches in any case

I know Josh well, and talked to him about this last week when I was in there. He did offer to bring some pieces in but I didn't want to make them go to the trouble given that I'm still in the preliminary stages of exploring Lange (and will probably buy in the secondary market when I decide what to purchase).

I'll check Betteridge when I'm up in Vail this summer.

Oh cool! That's awesome.

I was in betteridge last weekend and they didn't have anything.

If you're interested in trying on the dato, I'm more than happy to meet. Shoot me a PM

Let's see some more/new Lange shots!

I am trying to decide on my next piece and thinking an addition to the Datograph is the decision. Any suggestions? Been leaning towards a grande lange moon phase, but certainly open to some other ideas!

Richard Lange pour le merite platinum is a sweet piece with an enamel dial and fusee and chain movement

I also think their world timers are genius.

Just some others to throw in the mix. Surely you've entertained the ZW already?

Wow strong move!
I have the AP skeleton and would like a 5712 but really just for a Zeitwerk.
Do you miss those pieces?

No, I really don't. I came to the conclusion that I am not much of a strap fan, and prefer having a bracelet. The dato fills the void that these held, and I added different PPs back with bracelets.

Stunning piece, congrats May I ask what your wrist size is, and how the Zeitwerk wears?

The A. Lange & Söhne Thread - including daily pics...

Thanks!
I have a small wrist at 6'1/2". But the Zeitwerk is comfortable at 42mm. The Duometre and the Zeitwerk wear very similar on my wrist.
Both are very comfortable and don't feel too big. I think also partly due to the lugs.
I have a 42mm VC Overseas that is super comfortable.
But I have a 39mm AP 15305 that feels almost larger than my VC.
Some comparisons....

Thank you, the Zeitwerk definitely looks great on your wrist. That's quite bad news for me actually. Having similar sized wrists, I assumed the Zeitwerk would be too big for me. Now I have to go out and try one on. I suppose only ALS Boutiques carry the Zeitwerk line, don't they?

I believe so, but they are certainly rare to find in the wild.
A boutique would be best bet - take a trip to Vegas! Their ALS should have one.
