Beautiful photo. Care to share your camera/lens combo? Sorry for my ignorance - what is the modification?

Now that would be a cool mod. I would love to see that. (On a polar)

And to stir the pot a little. OK, don't shoot the messenger but just an idea.

How about a Pepsi/Coke/BLNR bezel with a matching 24 hour hand for a Explorer II 216570. I think we would see a few heads explode on this forum.

I'm bored now. Have no clue what my next project will be.
Simple: take the crown guards off and call it done! This is the best looking modem daytona I've seen; mainly because it looks like an old one... Great job!

like the thread

a few of these watches would make Liberace blush

the brushed Milgauss looked cool

liked the TT Daytona on leather strap too

the green strap with green dial looked somewhat reptile-an

I got tired of seeing what seemed like everyone wearing a black TT Submariner in my city and decided to go for the green too

no, I bought the dial as an after-market product

the dial seems to change colour when exposed to natural light

not sure how all that works, I assumed the dial was not made by Rolex, though it was not cheap?

after-market may have been the wrong term to employ

I like it; now all it needs is the bezel polished and I think it will look like my dream ExpII.

Too hot here in the Bay Area for a leather strap, so going with the brushed bracelet.

I'm almost halfway through this thread, very nice and unique mods. I just started doing slight mods on my cheapo Seikos and I'm hooked. If I ever find a beat up 16610 submariner at a decent price I might do the red hand mod, restore the case/bracelet, and call it a day. Keep those pics coming!

And back... (Does it count as a modification to set a watch already modded straight?)

Your mod looks awesome, especially love the clean look.

Pls. update us when you've finalized the mod and let us know how you got the bezel to not turn. Personally I wouldn't mind if the bezel was rotating like a normal GMTII. Thanks!

May I ask where you guys have your modded Rolexes serviced when they need it? Not RSC, obviously!

Abcwatchwerks Los Angelas California. Touch cheaper, faster turn around time, and pure EXPERTS at what they do. They serviced while modding mine. All I will say in terms of price, compared to rsc, I had money to play after.
