I think I might have posted this already. Not sure, but personality and how you treat others is more important than the watch you wear.

Some of you might be surprised to know that it’s actually possible to wear a Rolex to work and still be popular and well liked.

I am retired now but always wore a nice watch to work, almost always a Rolex, sometimes a Panerai. I never cared what anyone thought. My last boss didn't like anything on his hands, no rings, etc, not even lotion. We didn't get along well but it had nothing to do with watches.

Never thought twice about wearing it. I work at an investment bank... so keep in mind that the both gentleman who staffs our print/mail services & the kind man who restocks the kitchen also wear Rolexes!

My boss' boss' boss wears an Exp I, not kidding. I happily wear my SD43 and YM but never talk watches with him. He's cluesless anyway with regards to watches, although he's a semigod businesswise. If he's not happy about the situation I'm available for a talk, I can point him to one or two models that might suit his rank better.

I wear my Sub to work. Don’t worry about bosses. Most of them don’t know. I gave my boss a Tiffany pen when he got promoted to VP. He said he never own anything this nice. He then ask if I own anything from Tiffany. I said yes, raised my left hand with the wedding band on. He thought I was showing him my watch and he said “that’s a nice Tiffany watch!”

Sometimes I do. I wear it on the days when I won’t be going to the gym straight after work. Don’t feel safe putting it in the locker while I workout. That’s just me tho.
