ONCE again, the San Diego chapter of TRF proves, this is the best place to be (for TRF and everything else).

Just about everybody dropped me lines saying they couldn't make it, so I figured I WOULD be alone and headed over there around 12:30, to see the pre-loved selection and pick up my Daytona!

I was wearing my TRF shirt, (have been all day, free advertising for Leo) and as I walked in, a couple guys introduced themselves. Jerry and Steve are TRF lurkers. I.e. they have been to the site several times, and our admitted WISes, but have not joined TRF. I highly encouraged them to do so and we spent the next 45 or so minutes talking with the staff, trying on dozens of Rollies, both new and pre-loved. And... the best part... I PICKED UP MY NEWLY POLISHED DAYTONA!!!!

This thing looks brand spankin new! I'm sorry I don't have a "before" picture, but trust me, I wear it 24/7 and it had it's share of scratches. Sorry to David and Tony, who might have gotten there after I left around 1:30 but I had to get to get going.

See? Even when most people can't make it, the remaining group of SAN DIEGO TRFers STILL makes the event a success!!!!!

If only other communities, (like where Leo lives for example

) could be as great as we are...
