I can't remember back 44 years. I'm sure it was something cheap since we didn't have $500 between us. I do know there is a direct connection between our staying together and the fact that I have 3 rolex watches now.

I got married in 1992 & I was wearing a Movado Museum. I still have the watch although my wife wears it now. I think it is a 34mm, perfect for her.

I think that I was wearing an Esquire Tag S/el knock off. Sapphire crystal, quartz movement. I kinda shudder thinking about it. :(

What watch?????It was 1980, gold was soaring, interest rate was 14%, gas had peaked at $0.89/Gal, I made $1,200/month on an engineers salary and drove a 1967 Chevy II. I just bought my first house, a 100 year old farmhouse on 20 ac. It was winter, we were hostage to the resident field mice who winterd in the kitchen cause it was close to the coal stove and food. It was 2 miles to the nearest paved road, when the short-cut wasn't flooded, and my wife loved me.......which is really all that mattered at the time.

Wore my ca. 1953 Wittnauer Revue that belonged to my grandfather. Salvaged it from a junk drawer and had it restored for the occasion.

Fantastic picture Yazo!!
It looks like taken from a tale from 1001 Nights book. Just amazing:, a beautiful bride, a handsome groom, and a fantastic watch, in a wonderful costume and setting. You both look like some kind of Oriental Prince and Princess! Just love it! Congrats, and Thank you for sharing!! Kind regards, Abel.
