Every Day,
I've had a couple of comments from customers that I'm making too much money. I responded with it was a gift from my father and they shut up. |

This is a trick question, right?
Of course I do. Every freaking day. Rotate 'em around. And I don't think anyone even notices. But I like it!
Buy 'em, wear 'em and enjoy 'em! |

If I ever get a snarky comment about my watches or car I usually laugh it off saying that it's the way I roll. I stopped caring 15 years ago when as a first year investment banker and bought an Omega Seamaster pro, my boss bought one too and wore it the next day at the same time... I thought it was awkward, and exchanged it for a Speedmaster.

I mostly wear my Rolex watches to work and some days the SMP, Pam 88, Zenith, etc. Only three guys in my division wear Rolex, me included. No one cares or notices, and, I don't care anyways. I have these watches to wear. :D

People in my office seem to make harsh judgements especially if you own nicer things than they have. They cannot just be happy for you. I just tend to save very hard and buy things that I like. When I drove my new BMW to work they kept asking me how I could afford such a nice car. I told them that my wife makes double what I do. After them asking if my Tag was a fake I would rather hide my watches from them rather than risk their comments. I kkep them under my dress shirt hidden from view, while sneaking glances at them from time to time.

I'm a systems admin for a federal agency and I support judges and staff. I am the only one in my office to wear a Rolex (except for some visiting attorneys). I don't care what they think, pro or con because strapping my Rolex on everyday gives me pleasure. I usually take it off at night (at some point) but always look forward to strapping it back on.

I have not worn anything else on my wrist for 25 years (this coming November).....I am never without a watch on my wrist, until I fairly recently bought a couple of Tudor Chronographs, it has always been a Rolex.....I have had very few comments over the years...certainly none to worry or be embarrassed about....at home, on my bike (cycle), at work in the office or even at work offshore....I bought them to keep and to wear....when they are passed on they will have history my kids can relate to and not be just "that watch Dad kept in a box"....

I wear mine *everywhere*
I have never been fan of babying it. It's a watch. And a damn fine one at that!

In my line of work, I see lots of people wearing Rolex, AP, JLC, PP etc but to be honest, no one really stares at your wrist unless they are a WIS like us (which I found very little at my work)!

No don't wear my sub to work. Too much of a hassle in health care. It was spending more time in my pocket than on my wrist so bought a Casio for work.

With all the issues that we deal with on a daily basis, I dont think my boss even notices that I am wearing pants.

Mine is in my rotation with an Omega Seamaster, Speedmaster, a Doxa, and Vintage Accutron Astronaut. Only one person, an attorney I work with from time to time, has ever noticed any other than the orange face on the Doxa.

Itīs easy to imagine that everybody is looking at your wrist and passing judgments shortly after buying your first expensive watch. People in general donīt care about watches and rarely look at other peoples wrists.
I wear my watches to work always (except for wearing my G-Shock on training days). Nobody has ever mentioned anything.

wear mine every day, my boss has an IWC Pilot Chrono.
If you feel the watch hiarachy has to match your position at work, tell your Boss to buy a Patek. Is it the same with cars in the company car park?

I have worn mine to work every day since getting it last month. I only get comments from my employees how it's crazy to spend that kind of money on a watch but they know it's something I care about so that's about as far as it goes. My "bosses" are not onsite so I rarely see them. In my company I believe the only other Rolex owner is the COO and considering I rarely see him or any other "boss" for that matter I'm not worried.
